Hello, I just want to thank Dr. Sand for doing my mom's surgery. She was a visitor in the states in the year 2019, when she was there, she was taken in for emergency bypass. He was an excellent and amazing doctor, who knows his job. I never got the chance to meet him, so I just want to thank him ????

In July of 2006 I had a triple bypass, a maze procedure, 2 valves repaired and a pacemaker done by Dr. Sands and his team and here it is 17 years later and now 90 years old, and still ticking. Thanks for all you have done and enjoy the lighthouses in your retirement.

In '16 I had to have 6 bypasses. I was 57 years old and my first time in a hospital. I woke after surgery feeling absolutely wonderful. Zero pain issues. He had me up and out in 3 days after my surgery. He and I both agreed that I was in a great condition to be release, especially since I was 15 minutes away from a hospital. I had ZERO! ZERO! complication afterwards and to this day. If I had to repeat for whatever reason and he was my surgeon I would go under with a smile. He brief me well on the procedures including worse case scenarios on what they might discover and insured my care afterwards was top notch. I highly recommend him. God blessed this man with skill.

My mother suffered a major heart attack on July 7, 2018, and was sent to ORMC for a bypass surgery back the next day. After a review of the tests, Dr. Sand came into her room and told us that he was going to adjust her meds and send her home. Since we were still concerned, he told us he would talk to a colleague. Turns out that she was having a "Widow Maker" from a blockage in the LAD. She has a second heart attack a month later because of blocked arteries which were borderline at the time

I had my first visit with Dr Sand on 9/27/18. The first person to greet me was Tenisha at the front desk. Tenisha handles all of the "front of house" admin issues with ease and professionalism and has a wonderful personality. Dr Sand has a great personality and calm demeanor which really puts your mind at ease. He truly cares about his patients and explains everything. A brilliant man with a gift to heal. The entire visit from start to finish was truly an excellent experience!

Simply the best. They don't make medical professionals like him anymore. He's thorough, honest, caring, professional, extremely experienced and funny too. Dr Sand is God sent - I just can't effectively articulate how important this man has been in our lives.
