I always leave his office in tears.
He seems very uninterested in his job. Bedside manner is zero, he didn't sit down or smile and was not friendly. Everything I said he would question. It's like he was intentionally trying to make me feel stupid. I'm not sure why one continues to practice when it's so clear they have no heart in it anymore.

Indignant, aloof, disinterested. Did not even address my concerns about shoulder pain after a fall. Falsified his notes about what he had done, claiming things he absolutely did not do. Rushed me in and out in 20+ minutes, even though his nurse had warned me that first visits are often very long. Wrote that I wanted a cortisone injection. I did not ask for anything.. he suggested it for my back. Left the room without even checking my injured shoulder. Very unsatisfactory visit. Waste of time at an appointment I had waited MONTHS for. Ended up going to ER a day later for the shoulder pain: partially torn rotator cuff.

Best Rheumatologist I've ever had!
I saw Dr. Navarro for years. I had to stop taking the Biologic I was on due to other medical issues. I can now return to Dr. Navarro and I am so excited!! He was the best Rheumatologist I've ever had. He listened, he cared, and he treated after thoroughly testing. I would highly recommend Dr. Navarro!

Dr. Navarro diagnosed me with RA and later diagnosed a DVT. He personally waited while I had a ultrasound and then prescribed treatment for the DVT. He has also followed other blood disorders and personally called me at home to confirm diagnois and to give treatment advise. He has always gone above and beyond to treat me. I would not be here today if he had not found and followed up on my DVT. I would not be up and walking if he had not diagnosed my RA and started me on advanced treatment immediately. I would recommend him highly.

Dr Navarro listened, then was quite honest with me and said he would like to research and decide on the best treatment for me at this time. I asked him to please not forget me. He called me personally that evening and then again twice the next morning. I am hoping that this treatment will finally be the key to my wellness!

I've seen him a few times for chronic pain. He refused to give me xrays twice when I asked for them. He told me I didn't have an autoimmune disease and I told him how wrong he was because I've had an autoimmune disease since I was 4 years old. Then I let him know the info was in my chart. So, basically he didn't read my chart. At that point he gave me xrays and was stunned I had RA, he kept asking me how I knew something was wrong. I bawled him out. Don't want to see him again either.

Dr. Navarro is an excellent Rheumatologist. Before he prescribes a therapy for you lab work is done and some x-rays depending on your medical issues. He talks to you as if you where the only patient he had. He then decides what type of medication will help you. He is there for you always with any of your concerns. I feel very fortunate I was referred to him by my Primary Physician.

I was sent to Dr Navarro to find out what auto immune disease I had and he came in very unpleasant seemed rushed rambled off a bunch of questions trying to rush me and not really giving me a chance to tell him all my symptoms than he did an xray on my chest after my concern of breathing and heaviness and came back said it was OK but I had scoliosis but than left it at that and didn't say anything about it and his nurses were very rude to my daughter at the end trying to rush us out manhandligher
