Complaint
On 7-9-2024 I was seen by Dr. Goldberg for roughly 1-2 minutes. On 8-2-2024, I got my medical records from her exam of 7-29 as she was completely disinterested during my exam.During my exam she announced to her nurse I have GA. I asked what that was and her comment was there is a commercial about it. She said to come back in 9 months and possibly I would need shots in my eyes. This has never been discussed. I wanted info and she was walking out of the door. I asked about glasses she said my vision was 20 20 and left the room. Today as I read her medical documentation it sounds like she was thoroughly forthcoming with massive amounts of information. She was not.The documentation of 7-29-24 reads closely to documentation dated 12-29-23. She swept in and left quickly. In the records there is no mention of the heretofore GA. I question if she even knew which patient she was talking to. I won't be back. Best for both of us as she couldn't care less.

I found Dr. Goldberg! Her new offices are in Elgin, and my visit was wonderful! Dr. Goldberg is very caring, patient and knowledgeable. She really feels it is her mission to help save her patients' vision. I am so indebted to her for her professional treatment and diagnosis, and for her warm and caring outlook toward me as a patient. She took a lot of time to make sure she I had all of my questions answered and so I felt comfortable with the treatment plan. Thank you, Dr. Goldberg!
