Disturbing Approach of Dr. St. Amant
Upon my first time meeting Dr. St. Amant while experiencing pregnancy complications, he was very passive aggressive, bedside mannerisms was not pleasant & the communication provided to him from his fellow colleagues regarding my status he communicated to me was at times very inaccurate information than what was provided from his colleagues. Upon me informing Dr. St. Amant that the information he was providing was inaccurate & misinformation of what he said he 'assumed' he read or thought, he verbally stated to me saying 'I will check with the other doctors but regardless what they say I am the doctor in charge & it will go by what I say.' This aggressive, arrogant behavior was very disturbing to experience during my hospital stay & I do not wish to experience Dr. St. Amant again or have him as my attending doctor. First impression is a lasting impression!

My wife was referred to Dr. St. Amant, after there was some concern on the ultrasound with the babies lungs and my wife's blood work at 20ish weeks. The day of the appointment with said doctor, we could not find a baby sitter for our 4 YO son and I was unable to take off work. Doctor was very passive aggressive and non chalant. He wouldn't give very much information to my wife, but decided to blast her on the Materni21 results portal, with information that he did not disclose to her at the meeting, his job, as a MFM specialist (very important information). He also accused her of being under the influence, and that she possibly had substance abuse issues. She and I positively do not do drugs. I feel as if he was annoyed that my son had to attend the appointment, and was either extremely innatentive and/ or vindictive. High risk pregnancies beware
