Dr. Petersen and her staff were extremely helpful. I had a biopsy on a wound that was not healing. Even before the biopsy was complete she notified me that they had discovered a proteus infection and immediately put me on Cipro. When the biopsy came back it was discovered I had an extremely rare form of cancer that had not been discovered despite a surgery on the affected area in July (4 months earlier) and several wound clinic visits and hyperbaric treatments. Dr. Petersen personally tracked me down while I was having a hyperbaric treatment. After the treatment she initiated a conference call with. me and the hyperbaric administrative staff where I was notified by Dr. Petersen about what was discovered. It was a turning point in my treatment. Dr. Petersen and her staff have gone the extra mile to follow up on my cancer treatments.
