After a long 20-year arduous run of looking for a pain management doctor in the Reno Area I could trust, I found that in Dr. Arraiz. I've been seeing Dr. Arraiz for post-surgical spinal fusion pain since 2015. He is a compassionate and caring doctor. He listens and lets me lead my medical team. He works well with my specialists at UC Davis. Together we come up with plans that will work and accommodate my needs. He is exceptionally knowledgeable in his specialty. One of the areas I appreciate most is the time he takes to explain how certain treatments work and why some are better than others. He is thorough and precise and I would not consider another pain management doctor other than him. If I ever have to move out of state, I will travel to Reno to continue my care with him. I am so glad he is opening up his own practice and leaving Reno Orthopedic Clinic. I am happy for him in this step in his career and will be taking my care with him to his new practice, Battle Born Pain & Spine.

I was a patient of Dr. Arraiz for over 4 years from 2013 to 2017. He always answered my questions, thoroughly explained every step before and during procedures. I miss him and would love to see him again because he’s a good doctor and he’s hot stuff. Too bad he’s at the ROC though because the employees working in the billing dept. are either dingbats or criminals. Always cross reference your insurance EOB with your ROC bill. They charged me twice for my copay for 2 years and when I brought up the fact that I had paid the amount my ins. deemed “patient responsibility” and was told that there were “other” charges not listed on the EOB, which is not allowed. I told them I would not be paying it and I would not be going back. My Primary Care doctor told me the ROC billing dept. did the same type of stuff to him and when he told them he was a doctor they still argued with him. Needless to say I would never recommend the ROC to anyone due to their billing dept.

Spent only 10 minutes with me as a new patient. Didn’t really explain anything. I get home and a text on my phone saying an injection was ordered. What? An injection was never discussed, didn’t even know what kind. He kind of put down the physical therapy I had (which helped) also during the 10 minutes he talked. Didn’t have much of an opportunity to say anything. Would not recommend him.
