Awesome doctor! Very caring. I first saw him for a second opinion and he listened and put a lot of effort into finding out what was wrong. Unfortunately, we were unable to find the problem. I returned to him several months later when the problem was discovered and my other GI doctor would not listen to me. He actually apologized for not finding it sooner! Addresses quality of life when discussing treatment and considers the patient's preferences.

Within 3 minutes of meeting him: I knew. My guy.
How much time do you have? I went to him for a 2nd opinion- from the Mayo- and I knew within 3 minutes of our first conversation that I'm met a true doctor. A person able to listen, a person able to take in the full scope of not only my symptoms and life threatening issues -but my life- and how my recovery was critical to continuing my life which he saved. There are not enough words.

Dr. Freeman saved my life! I had no hope left in finding answers to my year of chronic pain struggles when I was referred to him. He diagnosed me with Sphincter of Oddi Dysfunction and performed multiple surgeries for me until we fixed the problem! He made it a point to tell me when I had lost all hope and was sobbing in his office, “I am with you and I will not give up on you. We will figure this out.” I could never thank him enough for giving me my life back. I would highly recommend Dr. Freeman to anyone in need of Gastroenterology/Pancreatic help!

Doctor won’t listen to patients symptoms. Only looks at lab results and other doctor notes even if they are not complete

The most incredible physician I’ve ever met. I have stars in my eyes every time I see him because he is a plethora of knowledge and kindness for persons who struggle with chronic pancreatitis. He’s caring, compassionate, and a genius when it comes to ERCP technique.
