Dr.Wilkes= the best
From the outset, Dr. Wilkes has been amazing. He’s helped me through a challenging time dealing with retinal problems in both of my eyes. He’s a very compassionate provider and explains things clearly and directly. I never leave the office not having a solid understanding of what my situation is. I’d rate him 20 stars if it were an option. If You want a caring provider who treats you amazingly well and is competent to the highest standard, Dr. Wilkes deserves your utmost consideration.

6 month surgery followup
Competent, professional support staff treated me as if I was the only patient taking all time needed. Dr. Wilkes' showed genuine interest in my appointment. He answered all questions without feeling rushed.

Dr. Wilkes is an awesome surgeon. He answers questions directly and to my satisfaction. He is genuinely personable and friendly. He made me feel comfortable with each procedure and repaired my detached retina which otherwise could have progressed to blindness in that eye. I would highly recommend him and am very thankful for him as well as all of the staff in the office and the surgery center.

Dr. Wilkes is Fantastic
Dr Wilkes is very caring and compassionate. He took the time to do a full examination and explain to me what was going on and what needed to be done. Never felt Dr Wilkes was rushing through any of the examinations, surgeries or follow-ups that I've done with him. Unlike many other doctors, I don't feel like a piece of cattle to Dr wilkes. He seemed very concerned about my condition and the outcome of the service he provided. I would recommend him to anyone who needs the specialty service that he provides.

Dr. Wilkes performed my surgery for retinal/macular issues. His warm interpersonal style and willingness to answer questions put me at ease prior to the procedure. I'm delighted to share the treatment was a success. Post-surgery visits were informative and encouraging. He is a skilled surgeon and exceptional professional who clearly demonstrates genuine concern for his patients. In addition to my positive assessment, the opthalmologist I went to for follow up services commented on his stellar work. I am happy that I trusted him to care for my eyes. I've recommended him to others considering a similar procedure. He has my respect and gratitude.

I had a rental tear and was having issues seeing clearly. Dr. Wilkes is one of the most professional and caring doctors I’ve met. He identified the issue, explained how the issue will affect my vision, and suggested a treatment option (explaining the treatment and why it was necessary). Dr. Wilkes is a credit to his profession.
