Dr. Mary McCormack, DO

I have been a patient of Dr. McCormack's for almost 20 years. She is down to earth and very easy to talk to. I love her!

Dr. McCormack is kind, caring and very compassionate. I tend to be anxious at the doctor's office due to previous negative experiences and she talked me through every step of the appointment and explained the reasoning for everything. Would highly recommend her especially if you are someone who tends to be anxious

My wife miscarried and had a follow up appointment. Upon entering ultrasound room nurse told her “take your phone with to record the heartbeat”. She had to tell tech we miscarried. Met with doc next, who was “concerned about her levels”, to which my wife had to tell this nurse that we miscarried. 4 days later my wife received phone call from McCormack’s office, asking “were you aware that you miscarried?”…. What if we weren’t aware? What kind of way is this to tell someone? These people are extremely unorganized, unprofessional, and unsympathetic. I realize they deal with miscarriages probably every day, but maybe they should try learning the correct responses as well as learning how to update a chart so that we are not constantly reminded of the heartache due to McCormack’s and staffs’ negligence. We have asked McCormack’s office to lose our phone number and will not be returning. If you are a high risk patient or have fears of miscarriage I do not recommend using this “doctor”.

I spent over a month waiting just to see her NP to discuss getting an IUD. They called and rescheduled me. Both times on the phone with the office staff I told them I’d have my child with me. When I arrived for my apt they had me leave because my son was with me.

Waited over a month to see a specific physician and they sent me to this one without asking. This Doctor forgets everything.I don't even think she remembers anything about her field anymore. Called many times asking for prenatal prescriptions, never got them. Very confrontational. No ultrasound untill now because she also forgot. They Sent me a contract to start paying for the delivery with the DR I never asked for. BEING PHYSICIAN DONT GIVE YOU THE RIGHT TO DO WITH PEOPLE WHATEVER YOU WANT!

I recently had an ectopic pregnancy. It took the doctor over a month to finally diagnose me. She sent me to get blood tests without speaking to me about anything. I was bleeding heavily for over a month. I constantly was stressed out because I had no idea what was going on with my body. They were terrible about scheduling and would always be running late. When I finally got answers Dr. McCormack called me a problem child and said she puts her religion first. I'm still bleeding 4 weeks later :/

Great staff and office but every time I make an appt to see my doctor she's called out to deliver. I understand this is an OB office but no one cared to call me to reschedule or ask if I wanted to see another provider. I also work in the medical field so I understand things happen but I have been to this office 6 times, actually saw my own doctor twice, saw another physician twice, and forced to reschedule twice. I had to handle all this once I got to the office after I had taken time off work.
