My PCP sent me to the ER, because a heart attack was evident on my EKG. I received excellent care at Banner Thunderbird. Dr Young listened to me with empathy, took thorough notes, put my family at ease, and arranged an appointment with a cardiologist very quickly. The nurses and MA's were very caring, went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable, and even fed my daughter and husband.

I wouldn't recommend Dr. Young to anyone. She is the coldest, uncaring doctor I have met. She has her own agenda with no interest in listening to how you are feeling. Do not see her if you are experiencing pain..she believes anyone needing pain medication is an addict. there are too many wonderful doctors...don't subject yourself or anyone you care about to her. I wish I could have selected three hours as the wait time that is how long I waited before being told she refused to treat my pain.

She is cruel, uncaring, does not take her oath "to do no harm" seriously. Do not take people you care about to Thunderbird ER. They will not talk to you and look at you as a person. They make a judgement and you are labeled as such until you die!! She let me walk out in extreme pain with a blood pressure of 194/110. Horrible judgement from any doctor! Be warned
