Focused on money over care
I have consulted Dr. George twice; once to have a lump removed from my scalp, and recently to diagnose a skin rash. She will only discuss one condition per visit. If I wanted to ask about two separate issues, it would require two appointments and result in two fees. On my most recent visit, she sat across the room the entire time and did not examine me or touch me at all. She observed my rash, wrote a prescription and left the room. The bill was over $400. In addition, this is the only medical practice I have ever experienced that requires a credit card on file. They charge your card if the insurance reimbursement does not arrive within 30 days. My impression is that this practice provides adequate care but is more focused on ensuring that they will be paid.

Saw Dr. George for spider veins
She said she was good at treating spider veins. I had a small area that needed attention. My leg now looks much worse than when I originally went. And when I was laying on the table being “treated” she told me I would need several more visits. At $550! BEWARE. She told me that she told me this -but I can assure you she did not tell me this. If she had I would have never gone back. I’d like my money back.

I love Dr. George! She is very thorough, personable and knowledgeable. She answered all my questions - some before I asked! She also treated my grandson for a condition and we were very pleased with her treatment. I will highly recommend her

I am a new patient of Dr. George, as of yesterday. She and her staff exhibited so much kindness and attention I felt as if I had been a patient for years. She is genuine with her concerns, patient as one nervously rambles, Listens closely, examines and diagnoses thoroughly and does all this while speaking with you and not at you. She and her staff are genuinely good human beings. I’ve never found myself this comfortable with a doctor after the first visit.

My first time meeting Dr. George for my annual skin exam. Initial incomplete scalp exam by med assistant and wouldn't take down my entire list of concerns, said "just give me your top 3". Dr. George spent a total of less than 5 min w/ me with less than 1 min examining by body AND she overlooked a lot of my body. When I asked about toenail issue she said it's not a fungus. How would she know; she never got closer than 3 feet from my feet! Whenever I asked a simple related question, she responded, "it'll be another visit" every time. When she finally realized the med assistant hadn't thoroughly examined my scalp, she told me he would be back. I waited 20 minutes and another med assistant said they didn't know he was to return. Very disappointing experience; I felt rushed, didn't receive a thorough exam by Dr. George, wouldn't take any time to answer my simple related questions and she seemed more focused on how to make more money by "setting up another visit".

Dr. George is really gifted when it comes to cosmetic treatments. I looked 10 years younger walking out of her office! And the longer-term results have been just as positive. I am really impressed by her skill level and her personality -- one of the best MDs I've ever been to!

Nice enough, but this office is definitely all about the money. They want you to leave a credit card number on file with them so they easily charge whatever portion your insurance doesn't pick up. That, by the way, can really rack up if insurance deems your procedure to be cosmetic. Also, not impressed with her whole body mole check; there were many places she did not examine at all. Whole body should be just that. Office staff is okay.

Dr. George is not knowledgeable as a skin specialist/dermatologist. She is extremely confusing in her diagnosis and treatment for skin conditions. However, she is very focused in being paid and charging for unnecessary services. I would definitely not recommend her as a doctor.

I should have been informed of the out of network Lab now used. A biopsy cost almost 300.00 out of pocket with BCBS. I will not be returning to see Dr. George.

I have not seen a derm in close to 13 yrs. Made the Dr aware of this along with my initial concerns for my appt. She was very short, spoke over me, told me I chose to make myself suffer from the chronic skin disease I have. She did not inspect any part of my skin for usual skin abnormalities. I was surprised by this as the referral I got said she was the best. Absolutely seemed like a patient with a chronic issue is a hassle and their own enemy. Will not go back to this dr or office.

I have been a patient for 10 years but hadn't needed to go in for almost 3 years when I made an appt for a full body mole check. When I got there, I was told that they don't do full body checks for new patients. When I pointed out that I wasn't new, I was then told that 3 years was too long between visits, and I would have to make a 2nd appt for that service. Er, okay then. I won't be back.

I contacted the office for an apptmt as a new patient & asked for a full body review (I have lots of moles). When I arrived at the apptmnt I was told I had to limit my inquiry to three skin abnormalities. I was then told I had to schedule a 2nd visit for a full body review. At this first apptmt, the office assistant took a biopsy sample (not the dr). At the 2nd apptmt full body review I was told, you have too much to review in this visit. A different assistant took another biopsy(not the dr)

I was recommended by primary to Dr George for Cystic Acne at the age of 31. I could not be any more happy with my results with my skin. I barely wear any make up anymore. Thank You! Furthermore, Dr George set up a full skin body scan to check for abnormal moles. I now know the importance of incorporating a yearly check up with a dermatologist as an adult. Super happy I have Dr George!
