Best family medicine doctor in Austin
I was looking for a family medicine doctor and decided to try Hill Family Medicine. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but my experience far exceeded my expectations. After seeing several doctors who kept prescribing the same medication that I had repeatedly explained wasn’t solving the problem and wasn’t a long-term solution, Dr. Hill truly made a difference. He took the time to understand my issue and offered a solution that gave me real hope for resolving it. I’m so grateful to finally be on a path toward resolving my medical issue, rather than just relying on medication to mask my symptoms. Thank you so much, Dr. Hill!

No actual healthcare. Just fees for visits.
Don't waist your time. I had a chronic headache I couldn't shake. The N.P. asked some questions and had me take blood tests. She would not respond to my tests via the portal as she had promised and the next available appointment was 5 weeks out. I guess I'll just suffer for a month or so? Meanwhile, I received 4 different bills from three different billing centers for one 20 minute visit.

Sure, he’s polite and capable of making small talk. But that is not why I go to the doctor. My blood work results came back with abnormal results that he did not fully explain to me, and that I had to research myself to find out answers to. And they brought me in the office all for him to literally read the results off of the paper for me and charge me $160 just for him to read the paper to me for 10 minutes. I even tried to ask questions that he provided one-word answers to. He did not provide any pertinent information to fixing my deficiency besides supplementation, failing to mention that consuming certain foods with the vitamin I needed more of inhibited absorption. This office will try to squeeze money out of you without providing any value in return. Despicable!

Dr. Matthew Hill is an AMAZING doctor and by far the best doctor I've ever had! I don't say this lightly given the fact that I had the same primary care physician from the time I was in elementary school until I graduated from college who was an incredible physician. After he stopped practicing, I tried out several different PCPs and could not find one who was even half as good. Then in 2017, I made an appointment with Dr. Hill after a minor car accident and I was blown away by his deep care for his patients' well being and the depth of his knowledge. It's both rare and refreshing. I went in looking for a doctor who was half as good as the one I grew up seeing only to find one who exceeded that expectation! Dr. Hill's consistency, bedside manner, and willingness to both listen and explain things in detail makes him shine further as a physician. If you want a doctor who will treat you well and prioritize your care who is also smart, empathetic, and patient then you should see Dr. Hill.

A lot of time and money was wasted with this doctors office. From sending me to a lab out of network for $2000 worth of blood work, staff up and quitting (I'm guessing) so having to explain my entire situation repeatedly, doctor ordering lab work and then not even reviewing it before an appointment- and ask me what I'm here for today as if it's the first time I've seen him (leading me to tears) and also lots of time taken off work only to have the doctor extremely late with plenty of excuses. Yo

I went for an annual physical covered by my company. It turned into a 15 minute chat. He listened to my heart and that was it. My socks, shoes, shirt nor pants ever came off. I have swelling in my ankles, but he never saw them. Have slight prostrate concerns, but no questions or exam. Waste of my time. Super disappointed.
