Treated my UC since day 1. I've since left Lincoln, but will drive back to continue using Dr. Hrnicek. Easy to talk to and will consider your needs and work around them. Will often ask for my input and thoughts rather than just say the solution is "X & Y" and leave. Working with Dr Hrnicek and his nurse does feel like a team effort, rather than just showing up, receiving an explanation of treatment, then leaving wondering what's next.

Dr is soooooo considerate of my feelings, answered all my questions and performed procedure quickly and efficiently with only a minimum of embarrassment or humiliation. No rudeness intended but glad not to see you under these circumstances for another 5 years

Nice, smart, good listener, makes quick decisions. The processes of the office are horrible. They schedule follow-up visits without patient input. The patient is notified by a letter. After an accidental no show (due to the follow up appt that was set with out my input), I called to make an appt after an ER visit and was told I couldn't see the doc until I talked to the office mgr first. She called me 3 wks later and scolded me for the no show. I was then offered an appt in mo. later.

Devoped MRSA after colonoscopy. Resulting in massive abscess and being admit through ER, emergency surgery by another medical facility.
