My husband visited Dr Hutter at MGH hospital for hernia consultation He has an excellent experience with Dr. Hutter and he explained everything patiently and I have all the confidence in the world in Dr. Hutter and I'm happy that he is treating my husband with kindness I highly recommend this provider

Excellent surgeon
Saw Dr. H for a VSG, and my case was Unfortunately not as straight forward as most. He was kind, comforting, respectful, and his resume speaks for itself. All of this goes for his team too.

Dr. is an experienced surgeon, considered skilled by his peers and well educated/ trained at a well-regarded university. That said, he did not have a good bedside manner. He came off as cold/ indifferent, hurried and arrogant. He did not look my medical record over prior to my appointment and simply read it to me, mostly in medical jargon, incomprehensible to someone who is not a medical professional or proficient in Latin. Follow up was a complete waste of time and simply a billing exercise. His staff, on the other hand, was very pleasant and he seemed to act more approachable with them than his patients.
