Came in for in exam. Decided I needed an in office procedure. Had to wait a month in between appointments. I was explained quickly about said procedure in first appointment. I then went a month later and asked some questions again and must have asked some question again. I forgot… my memory isn’t the greatest. He told me we already talked about that in the previous appt. Again I had forgotten and this is all new to me. He didnt spend time explaining what to do after the in office procedure. I asked the staff how much my procedure would be and was told it shouldn’t be much over my copay. They wouldn’t verify with my insurance. Wanted me to call and ask my insurance or just wait for them to bill me. I find that process bizarre.

Outstanding
The surgeries I dreaded for years were performed expertly by Dr. Weaver and I appreciate his fanatical devotion to minimally invasive surgery. Throughout the process, he was professional, explained things thoroughly, and was kind and respectful. I am better than before and the quality of my life has improved dramatically. Eternally grateful to Dr. Weaver.

Incredible physician!
Dr. Weaver is a doctor you can actually talk to. If you’ve ever wondered what a physician who is in the profession for the right reasons looks like, take a look his way. He is extremely knowledgeable, but also very personable. Dr. Weaver spends time with patients and listens like few doctors do. His office is also run very professionally. Dr. Weaver’s excellent care makes me glad that we have him in our city.

I am Liliana Betiu and I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Weaver at Houston Colon Center. After 12 hours of surgery the Enterocutaneous Fistula was closed and I regained my life back. He was very professional, personable exemplary care, very kind and excellent physician. Everything was clearly explained of our questions and concerns. Thank you PS If you are looking for angels, he is one of them.

In a span of six months, Dr. Matthew Weaver performed two life-saving surgeries on me. It is my privilege to write a review on my experience with him. Firstly, Dr. Weaver is an extremely talented, competent, and an accomplished surgeon. I came to him in extreme pain and with my life in the balance.. After two surgeries, i am whole again and on the mend. He has been extremely careful with me because i am 67 years old and i have couple of co-morbidities.. So far i have not experienced any complications at all from the surgeries.. Secondly, what distinguishes Dr. Weaver from other doctors and surgeons is his capacity for patience, empathy, and caring concern for my welfare.. Dr. Weaver has a reassuring demeanor in explaining patiently what the problem is and how we should proceed. I am a retired post-surgical nurse myself so i know whereof i speak when it comes to this matter. I give him my highest marks of 5 out of 5 stars... Lloyd V Mendoza

Dr. Weaver is an incredibly gifted surgeon...without him, I'm not sure I would still be here to write this note. His attention to every detail of my problem and his skill in the operating room are beyond reproach. He listened, took time explaining everything to me before and after surgery, and genuinely cared when I was confused and struggling. I'm forever grateful to him and to his team.

I can't give Dr. Matthew Weaver enough praise for his skill and professionalism during two very complicated and lengthy surgeries that he performed. I was especially pleased that the surgeries were performed via robotic and robotic-assisted laparoscopic methods. Instead of huge incisions that would have been taken longer to heal, he was able to accomplish precise operations by making several small incisions. Another huge advantage of having Dr. Weaver as a physician is that he and his staff are easily accessible. When I had fears or concerns during my healing process, I could easily reach a member of his staff or Dr. Weaver personally, to address whatever issues I was having. Having this peace of mind was priceless. I would highly recommend Dr. Weaver.

Dr. Weaver and his staff Ricardo Aguirre and Virginia Alagugurusamy deserve 100 stars. When I first walked into that office I was scared and in a great deal of pain, but thanks to Dr. Weaver and his staff my surgery was a complete success and I feel 100% again. I can not thank them enough for their compassion and professionalism. I hope I never have colon problems again but if I do, I have no doubt I will see Dr. Weaver again.
