Dr Cooney spent time with me . Explained everything I needed to know and created a treatment plan that helped me get better.

Our children have been in Dr Cooney’s care for over 15 years . We love and trust her implicitly . She is a great asset to our community. We appreciate all of her hard work and intelligence!

Dr Cooney does an excellent job of taking care of my children . She has a beautiful office in upper nyack . We are so happy we found her in Nyack to take care of our children !

Dr. Cooney is a kind, caring, and professional pediatrician that looks after her patients with the upmost attention. She’s routinely gone above and beyond for my family during medical emergencies, sick visits, and routine checkups. We would recommend Dr. Cooney to anyone and everyone!

I had a great visit with Dr Cooney . She spent time with me , helped me understand my condition and her treatment plan.She made me feel at ease .

Both of our children have been going to Dr Cooney since they were born. Sometimes you do have to wait longer than anticipated, but that is because she takes her time. She is kind and caring and knowledgeable and always worth the wait.

My wife and son had a visit with this office recently. After they recounted the experience, this is what I wrote to this office: "This message is for 'Dr.' Maureen Cooney... I was just informed of the gross and disgusting misconduct that they witnessed by YOU in your office. I have never in my life heard of such disrespectful and ignorant behavior from a so-called medical professional. From what I was just told of your lack of maturity and professionalism, I am sickened. That is how you behave in front of a child? That's the sort of language and rhetoric your use in your practice regularly? I would say that you should be ashamed, but it doesn't appear to me that you have much of it to spare. I will make certain that word of your obnoxious behavior is well-known in Nyack." It was a terrible experience. Avoid.

Dr. Cooney is a well-intentioned and caring person. She treated my children for 20 years, but we left the practice due to her recent shockingly unprofessional behavior. She seemed to forget we we're even in the room while she was ranting about the Covid vaccine, without regard to our specific needs and concerns. I feel bad for her.

I was a patient of Dr. Cooney for 22 years and now my children are patients of hers. Over the years Dr. Cooney has been nothing but professional, caring and understanding. The staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable. I have called multiple times in a panic and they stayed on the phone with me, sometimes for over 10 minutes, to help me. I recommend Dr. Cooney to every family who is looking for a pediatrician because they will receive quality care from a more than qualified pediatrician.

I had just started taking my kids to Dr Cooney and I could not be at more ease knowing my children are in such good hands. Dr Cooney is an amazing doctor, the level of care she has for each one of my children is remarkable. The staff is very professional and the other patients are really nice, the waiting room is always full of quality families. If there is anyone looking for a good, qualified, professional Pediatrician I suggest going to Dr. Cooney.

My two children have been patients of Dr. Cooney since they were born (they are now 19yrs and 15 yrs old). Dr. Cooney has been nothing but caring, respectful and professional to my children and my family. She really makes me feel that my children are being cared for, often staying in the examination room for more time than the new regulations in healthcare warrant. She takes the time to make sure all of my questions and concerns are addressed and answered fully. There is no one I would rather send my children to for their medical care!

Dr Cooney is a very nice person and a good doctor, but she has taken on too much in recent years. She's not in the office every day and is usually late to the office because of other locations she works. We had arrived for an 11 am appointment and she wasn't even there. The receptionist acted like we were crazy to be annoyed and said she would be there soon. After 30 minutes, she arrived. And that was a short wait. We've waited 1 hour just to go to the smaller waiting room. And now both my sons had lab tests done and while the results are in, we were told we'd have to wait until next week for her to look at them and get back to us. She good with the kids, but delays are not acceptable when it comes to the health of my kids. If you can't manage the load, stop taking appointments. Her staff is always nasty too, which makes everything even worse.

I have been going with this Doctor office for since my first child was born -19 years ago. For the last couple of years, its been a constant issue with billing. their receptionist accepted an insurance that I had at the time and accepted at their office but all of a sudden they are charging me for the services . Their billing is horrible and I'm fed up and living her practice. even since Dr. Jovino left, this has been going down the hill.

The doctor seems to be a good pediatrician, But the office/practice is just very poorly run. You end up waiting a long time at appointments . The 3rd party website, and third party billing, and third party answering service, are just too much to deal with.

Dr. Cooney is a very caring doctor. I have three kids and when I bring one in she asks about the others as well. She recognized early on that one of my kids might have a syndrome and advised me to see specialists, and she was right. Her bedside manner is really good with kids as well.

An incredibly unprofessional practice. While she's a very nice lady, she often forgets about her patients turning what should be a 30 minute visit into a 2+ hour ordeal. She forgets about patients, and leaves the room mid appointment to attend to other patients, and it's incredibly frustrating and easy to get forgotten about. There's really no respect for anyone else's time in this office.

I changed my son's doctor from Haverstraw Ped to Dr. Cooney. I belive that was the big mistake.
