She's a caring physician who cared a great deal in regards to my disabled son; suggested innovative and novel approaches to managing his symptoms. We were sad to see her leave her previous practice where my son goes.

I saw Dr. Carter because my doctor wasn’t in. I told Dr. Carter that I was feeling down from a recent break up. I told her I should see a therapist. She noticed in my chart that 3 years ago I told my doctor I was feeling depressed. That was because I just moved to Raleigh and didn’t have any friends here yet. Dr. Carter noted in my file that I need to see a psychiatrist. She also noted I need to follow up with my doctor in 30 days. She made me look like I was mentally ill. I can’t erase my chart
