Dr vazeen did both my eyes for cataracts 15 years ago. I have been very happy. Threw away my trifocals. Still pass an FAA physical without glasses at 80 years old

I had PRK surgery with Dr. Vazeen 2.5 months ago, and I'm still having problems with my eyes. Yes, my distance vision is improved (I no longer need glasses to drive), but my close vision and mid-range vision are HORRIBLE. I never needed readers prior to the surgery to see my computer screen or my phone; now everything is very blurry. My eyes are still very dry and sore, despite the numerous drops and ointments I put into them every day. My last recheck visit with Dr. Vazeen was 2 weeks ago, and despite verbalizing my concerns, he dismissed me with no compassion and implied that since my distance vision was improved, his job was done and I was no longer a concern to him. I implore anyone thinking of having PRK to really research the possible complications, and plan to be Legally Blind for 2-3 weeks after the procedure. You should also find a different, more compassionate doctor that is willing to listen to his/her patients and explain things more thoroughly.

Excellent experience with Dr. Vazeen on cataract surgery. I was very happy with the great job he did on my Lasik 15 years ago. It was very reassuring having him do the cataract surgery this month. My vision is now amazing. His team is extremely competent, organized, friendly and efficient. Perhaps the most professional medical facility and staff that I have experienced.
