Dr. Xintong Li, MD

I’ll start with the positives…. They got me in quickly (sort of) due to concerns with my vision. The office staff was mostly pleasant. The office was clean. Now to the good part…. HORRIBLE, uncaring, snarky, short lived appointment which did NOT address my concerns, wouldn’t do any scans even with a history of eye stroke and lasting blindness due to them, Rude, dismissive, refused to answer any questions, very unprofessional. I seriously could have gotten the same exam at a Walmart walk in optometrist. I would never put my vision on the hands of this person. In fact I was so disheartened when I left I called around and made an appointment with a different Dr. as soon as I left her office IN TEARS!

I have never written a negative review for a doctor in my life, and I have seen many. I think that if you are not a surgical patient, “which she told me was her bread and butter,” do not waste your time or money on a visit to this doctor. She does not listen to anything a patient says, she talks down to you to makes you feel that she is right and you are wrong despite her listening to you for 1 minute. There are people who go into healthcare to help people and there are people who go into healthcare for the money. She is in it for the money. I’m writing this to hopefully save others from leaving the office in tears like I did. She is extremely unhelpful and insinuates you should be grateful she is even granting you time if you are not a surgical patient. The 6 other eye providers in Reno I have seen has been significantly better than her. Find someone else. Anyone is better than she is.

The office staff were sharing food as I approached the desk. They were very unprofessional. Dr. Li treated me a bit disrespectfully and prescribed a steroid that cost close to$350.00 for a situation that would eventually go away with warm compresses. I will never return to this office.

She referred me to another Opthamologist for them to tell me the EXACT same thing. Waste of time! Didn't like her flippant attitude either. I liked Dr. Wolff but won't be back if it means seeing her.
