Dr. Meighan Elder, MD

I've moved away from Colorado, and Dr. Elder is one of the things I was truly sorry to leave behind. She is listens and remembers, she is thoughtful, kind and thorough. I felt seen as a human being, and I felt she "got" my approach to my own health and took that into account. She was wonderful. Highly recommended!

Outstanding, Dr. Elder always takes the extra time to explain and deal with all my concerns and also connects on a personal level very unique with professionals in the medical community. She always makes me feel listened to, understood and respected in all ways. It"s obvious she always has prepared and researched my issues and concerns prior to my appointment and directly presents new relevant ideas and also interacts sensitively to my questions/concerns. She is without a doubt, one of the best MD's I have encountered in my 30+ years as a professional LCSW mental health social worker and as a senior clinician and prior clinical director of small private homebased agency had supervised Psychiatrists directly myself, so have seen many MD's over my professional career, but more personally, as a senior with a rare cancer diagnosis, Dr. Elder has helped me in numerous ways and always goes out of her way to help make my appointments go well and I always leave much better than when coming in,

It has taken me 6 years to find a primary care physician in Colorado that I feel is concerned about my wellness care. When we moved I visited 3 private internists before switching to Kaiser. My experience prior to Dr. Elder were very disappointing. I was relieved to find Dr.Elder since she is knowledgeable and proactive in addressing any concerns. Her focus is on keeping you as healthy as possible as you age.

Dr. Elder listens, explains and understands. She is the best doctor I have ever had and at the age of 76, I have had quite a few.

Knowledgable, efficient but caring Somewhat cold I would send my family to her

Doesn't believe hormone testing is helpful, even tho for my condition research shows it is tremendously helpful. Sent me into a 3 day anxiety attack from the office visit, ended up in emergency room because of her lack of help. Although many dr agree my condition has a variety of issues, she tried blaming it on something else. Doesn't listen. Trying to give me a full time anxiety pill for a condition that happens 12 times a year. Tried to kill me with meds reducing my heart rate too low. RUN
