Ignores Issues
Dr. Klein was filling in for my PCP while he was out of the office. I was in need of a refill on a prescription during a nationwide shortage on that medication, it took me months to find a pharmacy with it in stock. I called the doctor's office to ask that they send my script over to the pharmacy that had it in stock on Tuesday. Wednesday afternoon I received a call that the doctor was denying my request with the reason that the script had been refilled a couple weeks prior...they had confused the script in my request with a different prescription. I informed them of the error and waited for a response. I never got one. Friday morning, I called again and was informed that the doctor had ignored my response and the notes still showed that they would refill the script when it was due in a couple weeks. Dr. Klein showed zero consideration and was entirely dismissive which caused her to make the error in the first place. Her lack of integrity was displayed in her refusal to make it right

After a severe SVT episode(my first), an ambulance ride (also my first) a couple days stay in the hospital, test after test and multiple lab work and blood draws, I was discharged. Melissa Klein was listed as the consulting physician on my discharge papers. Several messages left for her, and several of her nurses calling back with little or no help in scheduling a follow up. The latest return call from her nurse refused to put me through, hung up on me and still failed to schedule followup.

I have been seen by four cardiologists in two different states in the last two years. I recently visited visited Dr. Klein as the result of some new and severe symptoms. Her exam was brief and superficial. She was clearly dismissive and skeptical of my (accurate) description of my recent symptoms. She seemed arrogant and argumentative (The MD Goddess Complex?) and was a terrible listener. I have been on the Board of two large community clinics and have interacted with many MDs.
