Dr. Melissa Ramocki, MD

My name is Natalia deRezendes and I had a neurological examination in Dr Melissa Ramocki's office in East Greenwich RI today, October 29th 2024.This is one superbly wonderfully run office.. filled with joy, LOVE and personal care 'par excellence.' From my first contact months ago with the kindest ever welcoming and caring receptionist Kerry, to the fabulously personable technician named Lisa ...who made that somewhat grueling hour long plus testing...Fabulously creative FUN....to the meeting of this awesome Dr. named Melissa...OMG...such a wonderful neurologist who actually 'listens to mine septuagenarian story'... that we may come to some 'solutions as to just what is going on in this head of mine........Even the examination was FUN! In gratitude for this wonderful experience!

I’ve been through a medical issue in the last few months. I have seen a few doctors to figure out what happened. Melissa has worked with a previous doctor and between the two, they narrowed it down to labyrinth disorder. Also a vertigo incident as well. She figured out my vestibular tubes were damaged. What a relief to find out what happened. I immediately started PT the next day literally. She knew I needed to jump on therapy ASAP. I worked with Joanne and she helped me emotionally and physically through the process. Months of PT and I’m not a 100% but I’m pretty close. You have to see this physician and her Team! She was my last resort. I highly recommend her. You won’t be disappointed! Thank you Melissa, Joanne, and Kerri. Awesome!

Dr. Ramocki, 5 stars, thorough, knowledgeable, explained in detail about Vertigo and treatment. It’s been a long time since I was treated as a person by a medical professional. Her staff; friendly and attentive. Best medical visit I’ve had in years. First time I have ever posted a review, that’s how impressed I am.

The entire experience was stellar. Setting the appointment, the extensive testing, the exam, all were A+. The staff is friendly and helpful; Lisa saw I was short of breath and brought the computer pad out for me to sign, so I could stay seated, which I thought was quite thoughtful. The appointment was long due to thoroughness and not rushed; clear instructions for the testing were patiently repeated for me, as I’m hard of hearing. And something very important to me: Dr. Ramocki let me say everything I felt I needed to say and listened carefully and asked questions. She then did an exam. Then she used all the information she had gathered for her diagnosis. These factors alone would rate 5 stars but I would like to add that Lisa is wonderful, going above-and-beyond; and Dr. Ramocki herself is an exceptionally warm and caring person, also going the extra mile. I would recommend her to family and friends in a heartbeat. P.S. I’m not related to nor have any connection with, anyone there

5 stars for sure. Very helpful for my medical concerns, and very friendly. It felt like making a new friend rather than being super clinical like many other doctors.

Dr. Ramocki is knowledgeable, kind and communicative. She is respectful, listens well and explains herself patiently.

If I could give her a 0 I would. My father was referred to her by his PCP for exacerbation of Menieres Disease. He is Portuguese speaking and she refused to have me assist with translation and participate in his care after he requested that i virtually attend the appointment ( due to COVID-19 ). In fact, she was irritated by him asking. I am also a healthcare provider, and i know how important it is to involve family in a patients care, especially if there is a language barrier. She did not listen to his symptoms and how they affecting his day to day activities and ability to safely work/ drive. She proposed unrealistic testing that did not assist in diagnosing or advancing his care plan... it was just a means of putting his care off or not having the knowledge to assist. If she couldn't help with his symptoms, then a good MD would of referred him out to a specialist that would provide optimal care. She is sub par in her skill and bedside manner ... two bad combinations!

Dr. Ramocki diagnosed my daughter's rare genetic condition, but there are treatment options, and I have such peace of mind now.

I was referred to Dr. Ramocki from my PCP for rocking symptoms after a car accident and a flight. I did all of the tests and she referred me to vestibular PT. Six months later, I was having no relief and got to see her again. She was downright obnoxious, +condescending. I tried to explain that the treatments weren't working and that I had all the symptoms of MsDd and not vertigo. She LET ME KNOW WITH NO DOUBT "WHO WAS THE DR". I still have symptoms of rocking and other but she wouldn't hear it!! I walked out the door and never looked back. Unless you have vertigo and know it, I DEFINATELY WOULD NOT advise this Dr!!

Dr Ramocki is my doctor for my severe menieres. She basically saved my life through her knowledge and her caring being. I would recommend her to anyone suffering from vertigo, migraines, etc. She’s the best!

I love Dr. Ramocki. After having two serious attacks of vertigo I was scared to death. I went to see an ENT who basically did nothing for me. He said when I was ready he'd refer me to a Dr Ramocki. I said " I'm ready now!" I got in fairly quickly and they did the balance tests and then I saw Dr Ramocki. She spent an hour with me. She figured out what was wrong, migraine associated vertigo, and I was feeling better within a few weeks :-) I've had to go back a few times (flare ups) she is great.

My visit with Dr. Ramocki was absolutely amazing. She took the time to explain my situation to me and what I could do on my own to help resolve my symptoms of vertigo. I really appreciated her explanation and the kindness of her and her staff and I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Ramocki was great. Though I waited in the waiting room longer than I would have liked, it was well worth it. I have been suffering from vertigo for several years. Dr. Ramocki spent a long time with me and explained the condition and things that I can do on my own to resolve some of the symptoms. I appreciated her thoroughness and kindness and highly recommend her.

Went to see Dr. Ramocki for ongoing dizziness. I don't know if she was having a bad day but she was not at all prepared. She showed lack of caring, and had this " it is what it is" response to everything. It was awful. Then out of left field talked about putting me on medication for a condition outside her field, without knowing my background. My lack on confidence leaving that office was thru the roof. The general staff in the office is nice, I got there for VPT, but her, NEVER AGAIN!

Let me start by saying this is the first time I have ever felt compelled to review a doctor. In addition to waiting over an hour to see Dr. Ramocki, I found her to be rude, condescending and narrow minded. If you suffer from a tick borne disease, and feel this may be contributing to your balance problems, do not waste your time. Her knowledge of lyme and other tick borne diseases is limited and out-dated.
