Pleasure to deal with!!

DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY UNNECESSARY FACILITIES FEES!! I went in for a simple mole to be looked at. Derm recommend I get the mole removed for inspection, so I said yes (I’m not trying to get skin cancer) and turns out it was just an ingrown hair! Imagine my surprise when I get charged a month later for 3 different bills (Derm, Facility Fee at Ronald Reagan & Pathologist) totaling $1000 AFTER INSURANCE. All for a mole that wasn’t even a mole, but an ingrown hair. Anyway… no one told me about the facility fee, but I guess that’s my fault for not reading the hundred pages they made me sign before removing my ingrown hair. Needless to say, derm was good and I feel bad for dragging her through this, but I’m livid that I walked out of there paying $1000 and this is your warning that you may have to pay the same if you come here. For the love of everyone, just go somewhere that doesn’t charge facilities fees.

I can say without any reservation the Dr. Hu is one of the best Dermatologists I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. I have seen dermatologists all over the world. I have had multiple melanomas etc, and have encountered every kind of dermatologists you can imagine over the last 20 years. And she is one of the best, if not the best. She was professional, courteous, and genuinely cares for her patients. I am considering moving back to L.A. just so I can see her again. That's how good she is. I can't believe anyone would ever leave her a negative review. Maybe they are having a bad day and take it out on Dr. Hu. Please don't use their comments to make any decisions. I have seen Dr. Hu many times and she was always great and thorough. She literally saved my life. And she can save yours, if you'll let her. Keep up the great work, Dr. Hu! J.L. Really felt like she didn’t care, barely listen to us and rushed us out

Last year, Dr. Hu found a malignant melanoma on my foot. She handled the issue with such consideration and dedication. I am extremely grateful for her diagnostic skill and efficiency. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Mengjun Hu has terrible bedside manner. She looked for procedures to perform so she could charge me ridiculous amounts for work that was not necessary.

I had a skin check with Dr. Hu. She was kind, professional and knowledgeable and was very thorough with my skin check. She found not one, not two, but three skin cancers! Suffice it to say, she's the only dermatologist I will be going to from now on!

I am so grateful that my previous Dr. was not available and Dr. Hu stepped in. She was so kind, clear in explaining everything, made me feel comfortable and professional in her procedures and diagnosis. It's wonderful when a Dr can make you feel safe and that you are truly being cared for.

I am so glad I met Dr. Hu. Anyone would be lucky to see her as their dermatologist. Dr. Hu treated me for recurrent folliculitis on the face. It was resistant to many treatments, but Dr. Hu was so kind and patient with me the whole time and helped to treat the problem. She was always very thorough in explaining different treatments and offering me different options so that I could make an informed choice. I completely trusted her and I am glad I did. Dr. Hu also made time to see me even when her schedule was booked up for many weeks, which I so appreciated it. On top of being a fantastic doctor and dermatologist, she is a lovely person and is so, so kind. She goes above and beyond, and I couldn’t recommend her more.

Dr. Hu was very attentive and very thorough in her diagnosis. She's very knowledgable and caring, and helped me through some tough skin problems. Would definitely recommend her!

I saw Dr. Hu for the first time today at UCLA today for a full skin exam. She recommended and we did one biopsy. Dr. Hu is young, smart, great bedside manner and answered all my questions. I had an appointment with DR. Mengjun Hu. And I found her to have terrible bedside manner. I have never gone out of my way to write a negative review about a doctor. I found her to be dismissive and she rushed any question I had. I will not be seeing her again.
