Midwest Orthopedics is the most efficient medical practice I have ever been involved with. Dr. Gibbons, hi PA and nurse are helpful, easy to talk to, explain things clearly. I just really like them all and feel like ai am in good hands.

I saw Dr. Gibbons after a months long battle after an injury from a fall. Others dismissed my pain and said surgery isn’t a good option in this instance. Dr. Gibbons took the time to go over test results, validate my concerns and explain why surgery wasn’t the best option AND then provided direction on how to move forward at resolving the issue. He didn’t dismiss me or say here’s some medicine now go away. Which is how I felt with a previous doctor.

I had an injured knee that was not completely healed and was aggravated by extensive time sitting at the computer. Dr Gibbons was able to see me rather quickly and relieve my concern about needing surgery. Thank you!

First of all the front desk receptionist was friendly and check in was prompt. The xray technician was nice, explained what pics were needed. Dr. Gibbons nurse was very nice obtaining my history. Then Dr. Gibbons and his assistant came in, explained the xray results, did a physical and then his recommendations for me. I was very pleased with the overall visit and would recommend Dr. Gibbons.

Midwest Orthopedics runs like a well-oiled machine. Every appointment is on time, staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. The day of surgery went very well and the outcome was past my expectations.

Dr. Gibbons administered Euflexa shots in my knees. He is a caring person and the Peoria area is very fortunate to have him. We are fortunate to have Midwest Orthopedic here.

This was my second total knee replacement the first being my right knee three years ago. I planned the left knee replacement for the end of the year for insurance reasons and activities. He gave up his day off of work and performed my knee replacement before the end of the year. The surgery went very well and my rehab has gone smoothly. This experience has been night and day better than my first knee replacement. I have seen Dr. Gibbons for knee and shoulder issues. Having deserted an orthopedic surgery happy doctor that barely even looked at me, Dr. Gibbons was light years in positive difference. He was thorough, provided an extensive array of diagnostic and prognostic information. He answered every question and more. I knew I was in very, very good hands. This is why when I was pretty sure I recently tore my rotator cuff ( 7 years later), I did not hesitate to seek an appointment with him. The experience again was thorough, personal, and encouraging. When this requires surgery, I will not hesitant to request him. He has my complete confidence and trust, as well as respect.

Had knee replacement surgery. Dr. Gibbons has very good bedside manners, listens to all your concerns and explains everything. Did not find him to be in a rush during any appointment.
