Dr. Michael J. Homerick so proud of himself
I found him to be dismissive and rude. He just seemed to be going through the motions and assuming. After the first words from his mouth, I knew I would not be receiving proper concern or care for my situation, he had found some pigeonhole in his brain he had already stuck me in, and he was extremely rude his arrogance and detachment from his patient was STARTLEING..I hope my life never depends on such a person. He took no time to even explain what it might be, what he was looking at anything accept to disrespect!

Excellent
We brought my son to the ER as terrified first-time parents when he stopped walking & then stopped standing at 17 months old. While he was candid with us during the entire visit, Dr. Homerick was the only doctor at the time who provided us with any hope that he could be okay. He listened to us intently, and then helped diagnose him with a rare - and curable - illness. He was calm, understanding & very kind through the entire process, which is something we needed at the time. We will forever be grateful to him for his patience, time and great effort put forth in helping us navigate this at a very scary time.

Dr. Homerick was extremely thorough and compassionate for a very complex and perplexing condition I was experiencing. He went above and beyond to check and explore every avenue to ensure my well-being. I highly recommend this doctor and will ask for him again should I need the ER.

I saw Dr. Homerick in the ER not being able to see. I was in excruciating pain and was blind at the time. He looked in my eyes with a light, did an eye stain tear test and then told me there was nothing else he could do. I could leave Palm Bay Hospital and check in to Holmes Regional because they were more equipped. I had to call my personal eye doctor and beg him to meet me at his office. Dr. Homerick then gave me a prescription for a pain medication and diagnosed me with conjunctivitis, which there wasn’t any discharge coming from my eyes. Come to find out, it was caused from the poison in milk weed, which was diagnosed by my personal eye doctor and my vision came back a day or two later. So Dr. Homerick had no trouble sending me elsewhere as well as misdiagnosing me because he needed something to write on the discharge papers and charging me $500 for that. Stay far away from this doctor and Palm Bay Hospital.

After a traumatic fall yesterday was “treated” by this awful human seeking help at Palm Bay Hospital ER. Treated me as I was seeker of medication. I fell at Publix at no fault of my own and was taken to this ER by ambulance. Never asked me any questions. Not one. Acted like I wanted to be injured and ruin my day. Yelled at me. While was in excruciating pain. If I could give no stars I would; absolutely the worst physician I have ever encountered.

He was very in depth, and comforting in my time of need. He even had the nurse call me in to re-check my blood levels when he found them low.
