Dr. Joyce’s overall experience and skill at performing joint replacement surgeries is simply undeniably great! I have had two total knee replacements and two total hip replacements and they have all been excellent and have greatly improved my everyday quality of life, and allowed me to continue to be extremely active ( hiking and extreme mountain biking) into my 60’s and beyond!

Dr. Joyce and Staff make for an excellent team! I have always been pleased with their performance regarding my surgical needs be it in his office or before, during and after surgical procedures in the Lighthouse Surgical Center. Please tell his office staff that I am willing to talk to anyone if they have any questions.

I have had four surgeries with Dr Joyce over the last three years. Each one he was very good at explaining all of the details I needed. I also can’t say enough good things about Eric his PA. They both take their time with listening and diagnosing me. Clint in their pt department has seen me after every surgery and he is excellent as well.

Dr. Joyce has taken care of me since an extremely young age. As a scared 14-year-old, who was told she was going to have double hip surgery. He is so caring, considerate, and truly takes care of his patients to the best of his ability.

Total hip replacement. 1 year later I feel great!! Dr Joyce is top in his field for this procedure. Highly recommended

I had rotator cuff surgery by Dr. Joyce in February 2023 and the outcomes were so incredible that I underwent a similar surgery for my other shoulder in January of this year. Not only is Dr. Joyce an incredibly talented and attentive surgeon, the staff he's assembled are some of the most caring, straightforward and knowledgeable professionals I know. In addition, his surgical facility (Lighthouse) is optimized for both patient, family member and staff, making the day of surgery smooth. Also, the PT team at his office are similarly terrific. I highly recommend them all!

Could not have asked for a better experience with orthopedic surgery. Dr Joyce and his care team provided exceptional care from the first visit to my last post op appointment. Dr Joyce has excellent bed side manner and his surgical skills are phenomenal. I returned to my high intensity workouts and my physicality demanding career within 4 weeks with no issues. Highly recommend.

Dr. Joyce performed shoulder surgery on me. His guidance and the actual surgery were outstanding. I'm recovering very well and in 3 months have returned to normal life... including playing golf. I have nothing but the deepest respect for Dr Joyce and his excellent staff of professionals. I highly recommend Dr Joyce for an Orthopedic surgeon. Just a great guy too !

I went to Dr. Joyce for a second opinion and i knew within the first few minutes of the visit he would be performing the surgery to repair the torn ligaments in my knee. The staff at the surgery center were top notch. Dr. Joyce had me moving my knee the day of surgery and PT the next day. He personally called me to answer my questions and check in on me the night following the surgery. The staff at his office and his PA are second to none. I would recommend him for anyone contemplating treatment of any kind he and his staff offer at his practice.

Dr. Joyce has afforded me the ability to continue on in my life pursuing the things I cherish. I have nothing but the deepest respect for him and his excellent staff of professionals. Over the years I have referred a number of friends and family whenever the need for an Orthopedic surgeon comes because I trust in him.

Unfortunately, this past October was my 3rd visit to Dr. Joyce. He did a surgery on my left shoulder in 2020, on my right elbow this August (2023) and my last, 3rd surgery on my right shoulder just this past October. He is an amazing doctor. Knows what is best for you and knows how to do it the right way so your recovery will be fast. Also, I want to mention his assistant Eric who works with him. Amazing team! Highly recommend them. I had an extremely positive experience with Dr. Joyce and everyone working at his office and at the Surgery Center. Dr. Joyce clearly explained exactly what my injury was, the surgical procedure needed, and what follow up care would be necessary. At Surgical Center, Dr. Joyce and everyone assisting were respectful, compassionate, and professional. Dr. Joyce is an absolutely superb surgeon. I feel so fortunate that I was able to have him do surgery on my knee. I am doing very well post surgery and attribute that to his extraordinary skill and the professionalism of his team. Erik, the PA, and all of the nurses also were so fantastic about answering any questions and explaining all procedures and follow up care. Everyone in the Office and the Surgical Center seemed so positive, competent, and happy to be there - just an amazing atmosphere. I highly recommend Dr. Joyce!

Dr. Joyce explained what my surgical procedure and rehab would be like and he was 100% correct. He and his staff are top-notch! My new hip feels great!
