I saw Dr. Kagen during for an urgent medical issue. After carefully reviewing my health and family history of medical conditions, he appropriately advised me for additional medical tests. I was impressed by the time he spent with me and his genuine interest and concern in my case. He was totally professional and yet he projected warmth and humility which is rare.

Dr. Michael Kagen is the rudest, most dismissive physician I have ever met. Having a rare injury and suffering from chronic pain for 25 years, I have met many dismissive doctors. Kagen was the worst. He was condescending and questioned why I was bringing up issues as though he didn't believe that I had them. He even told me that my pain was in my head. Since my meeting with this petulant little man, my injury has been diagnosed as a ligament tear in my lower back. I am appalled by his arrogance.
