Dr Kalisvaart was great! Answered all questions and explained x-rays.Very nice guy and eased mymind regarding concerns I had about possible hip problems and I absolutely will consult him personally with any future concerns.

My second meniscus repair surgery in 6 months 1 on each knee. Dr.K has great bedside manner and great at explaining what he will do and the expectations once completed. I am completely satisfied with both procedures performed. I didn't even need any pain relievers after the 2nd day on either surgery( I used approximately 1500mg of acetaminophen ). I recommend him to friends and family. I would highly recommend him if you need his services.

Dr kalisvart had me fooled. I thought he was a caring compassionate dr. Infact i was wrong. I went in for a meniscus tear surgery when in fact I need a total knee replacement. I asked for an mri and was refused multiple times. They told me we will see what's going on when we get in there. Yes I had a tare in my meniscus but being refused the mri a month before my surgery has left me in the worst pain and position of my life. I'm now in a wheel chair and haven't been able to walk in months now. I wish that Dr's listened to their patients knowing their own needs such as a necessary mri before a huge surgery. He has now passed me on to a new surgeon because he messed me up so much. Even after the surgery in extreme pain never offered an mri to make sure the job was done. I was in the er 3 times and numerous days weeks and moths in level 10 pain. Which I still am. He has now passed me off to a new dr. With all respect please listen to you patient we matter.

I brought my Son in for a follow up after completing a couple weeks of Physical Therapy for his kneecap partially being dislocated and then popping back in by itself. Instead of insisting on continuing PT when the treatment would better serve everyone to just be continued at home on our own, he suggested that we discontinue the PT at the office to avoid wasting everyone's time. I was very impressed and it shows his concern for freeing up treatment space in the office for patients that really need.the assistance of the staff in the office. GREAT DOCTOR!!!!

Dr. Kalisvaart was knowledgeable and helped me make a care decision that worked best for me. I would highly recommend him and ROC. It was also very fast.

Dr K has a fabulous bedside manner, takes his time w patients and really listens. He doesn’t jump to recommend surgery unless clearly indicated. As a physician myself (non orthopedic), I recommend wholeheartedly!

He recently did a rotator cuff repair for me, and from the initial visit through the surgery and follow up he made sure i completely understood the procedure and took his time at each visit to answer all my questions. This was my third rotator cuff surgery by different doctors and by far the easiest. He also did surgery on my knee a few years ago and it went the same way. He is the best!

From the time I got my MRI results of a ruptured ACL, to today when I got my reconstructive surgery, Dr. Kalisvaart and his staff have been incredible. Merissa, his assistant, replied to every one of my crazy questions via the MyChart App within the hour, and if she didn’t have the answer, she got me in contact with who could answer my questions. On multiple occasions, Dr. Kalisvaart called me himself to check in on me and/or answer questions. I felt cared for and understood.

Dr Kalisvart was the first orthopedic surgeon to finally fix my torn ACL after 36 years! He explains things very clearly & has a great bedside manner! Very concerned, knowledge, friendly and professional. He did a great job on my surgery & recovery & showed great care, concern & skill! Highly recommend Dr. K for ACL surgery!

My experience with Dr Kalisvaart was excellent. His explanation was easy to understand..including his drawing. When he found out how much pain I was in, he was very aggressive in resolving that issue. That allowed me to begin a productive rehab. Highly recommend!!

This is my 4th surgery/procedure with Dr K. and team. Dr. K. Is very thorough and always provides comprehensive diagnoses and treatment options. Sara and Merissa are great to work with, always kind and prompt to follow up. Shout out to the team at the ROC surgery center as well. All were very clear and concise in explaining the process and what to expect.

I have never had a bad experience at the ROC . Dr. Kalisvaart is very thorough and all his exams and explaining results from tests. He always ask what the patient wants to do, and doesn’t just say “I think we should do this.” Check in as quick being called back into the office is quick. I can’t say enough about the staff and how nice they are .

From Check in to pre-op, the ROC surgical staff was incredible. From the anesthesiologist to Dr Kalisvaart everything was great, smooth and successful! My post-op care from Danny was superb, as well. Both Dr. K and Danny separately called me the day after to check, too!. I have had a wonderful experience. ROC has been 5 star! Dr Kalisvaart is attentive and great at what he does!! The whole time- injury to surgery has been great! Thank you everyone at ROC!!
