Dr. Michael Krnacik, MD

My primary care doctor said if he were going to have knee replacement, Dr. Krnacik would be his choice. And that guy is pretty sharp. I had a total knee replacement. Was walking on it in a week, and have had no problems since. I felt I was in good hands, he is very competent. And nice, actually gives you his undivided attention during visits.

Dr. Krnacik put my son back together after a terrible scooter accident years ago. He also operated on my granddaughter who had a terrible break in her leg. Has replaced both my knees, and recently replaced a broken hip surgery which had gone bad, did a wonderful job. Not only is he a fantastic surgeon, he’s an amazing caring man who truly cares about his patients. When yoy mention Dr. K, you’ll get nothing but wonderful comments about him! I highly recommend him.

Dr K was excellent, he was spot on with his diagnosis (an unusual hip injury) even before mri confirmation. He is professional but caring. I felt very confident in him, he pulled no punches about the recovery and I have had an excellent outcome. I would go to him again.

Through this painful knee replacement, I had excellent care. I had one done, which was pretty bad, after healing it has been great. I love being mobile again. Just had the second one .I will go to this doctor with 'll my orthopedic needs.

Very personable, takes his time and explains everything and makes sure you understand what your diagnosis is. He gives you options in a treatment plan and explains what he recommends and why. He has done a lot to help me with my mobility due to my knee problems.

My husband had a hip replacement done close to a year ago. He is 67 and after 6 weeks he went back to work. We liked Dr. Krnacik. We were pleased with him.

This doctor was not interested in having me as a patient for double hip replacement but wanted more to belittle me than just say no. No thorough explanation of my issue, he told me I had to come back in 3 months and would only consider surgery if I had lost weight and stopped smoking. His written report contained nothing of his terms. However, surgeons and hospital staff in Eugene never spoke the words weight, or smoking and both surgeries - a success. I'm walking today but no thanks to Krnacik.
