His first words at the initial appointment to me as we sat down were, 'So, what are your goals?!' I was shocked in the best way possible. I had never experienced a doctor who did not make me feel like I had to 'justify' or 'give the correct' answer to unlock access to the care I needed. Continuously, I have experienced the most responsive, caring team. Their patient-doctor-nurse-admin communication and relation-building is top notch. My surgery results were impeccable. The lines were extremely neat and precise. His quality of work & results speak for themselves on his skill, experience, and excellence. He takes his time and, from experience, it’s because of his genuine care for his patient’s outcome. Even in recovery, Dr. Schmitt goes the extra mile. He genuinely cares, and his results are incredible.

Dr .Schmitt is an excellent surgeon. Very professional and caring. I’ve yet to have my surgeries with Dr. Schmitt but the office visits I had with him have me feeling extremely positive. My first visit was about a sensitive matter and I had thought I had been booked to discuss carpal tunnel surgery. I had lost my mother days before and wasn’t prepared to handle the more sensitive subject. He was so kind and understanding and sensitive to my situation. I rescheduled the visit and our discussion of my upcoming surgery left me feeling quite hopeful that he is going to help me reduce my pain significantly. He’s extremely thorough and knowledgeable and really seems to care about his patients. He put me very much at ease. I’m very happy I was referred to Dr. Schmitt.

Dr. Schmitt has a warm caring personality and takes time to listen to why you are there seeking help for your problem. I never felt rushed and he explained good options for treatment. His office staff is very helpful and took care of things in a timely manner.

This was my first visit but I was impressed by how open and genuine he was. I dot know how to quantify “he gets it” but that would be it. I go back in in a week and he’ll be cutting in me, and I have no apprehensions.
