100% gratefull
My hernia repair experience was perfect. Dr. Schweitzer's pre-op explanation of procedures and risks, the BayView surgerical setting and Dr. Schwitzer's post- op instructions all went smoothly. I am grateful for his dedication and focus and skill.

In 04 Dr.S performed a duadenal switch with pancreatic division. I chose Dr S for one reason only, his low percentage of post operative leakage (none) as I recall back then. Short story: surgery in 04 with weight peaking at 495 ending up at 225 12 to 18 months later. Maintained that weight consistently until 2018- 2019, adding 40lbs since retiring. Dr Schweitzer and his staff are the cream of the crop. The best of the best.

Dr. Schweitzer is fantastic. My husband was in horrible pain for years until he saw Dr. Schweitzer and we found he had gallstones and needed his gallbladder removed. HE took excellent care of my husband before, during, and after the surgery, and made sure i felt comfortable knowing he was in good hands. We couldn't be happier.
