Dr. Michael Sisk, MD

I had a knee made from an MRI. Dr. Sisk out it in. When I started physical therapy, we discovered it was put in at a 16 degree angle. I spoke to the hospital. They offered to replace it at their cost. Dr. Sisk said it wasn't his or Dr. Andrews fault. Said the computer did it. Really? He said he could replace it but didn't think it would help. I now walk with a twisted crooked leg. I live with daily ankle, knee and hip pain. Wouldn't recommend this doctor to anyone.

I am very pleased with my knee replacement in October. Dr. Sisk explained the whole procedure and issues I could expect while in the healing process I would recommend him always.

I have had 3 surgeries replacing a shoulder and both hips. I use to think very highly of him. Recently I had him replace my left hip. My femur was fractured and my staples were removed with drainage coming out. He didn’t see the fracture on the X-ray the other dr that was in the room seen it. I was sent home with not a word about what to do bout the fracture or the drainage. I ended up being life flighted to slc, had staff infection and sepsis. After 2 weeks sent home and 2 weeks after had to be ambulanced back to slc again. had 3 surgeries all together and still not done with this process I’m going thru. I’ll be down for at least 2 more months, if not longer. I have a pick line to push antibiotics thru every 8 hours have to take 17 pills a day and stuck at home. Can’t do nothing! And the most painfull I’ve ever felt. I was so disappointed! I think he’s great guy, was one my favorites. It makes me sad to say that!

Dr. Sisk is excellent. Everything from trigger release on my thumbs to shoulder replacement have been wonderful. Soon to have both knees replaced. Cannot imagine having anyone but Dr. Sisk do the surgery.

Dr. Sisk repaired my rotator cuff. He did the best he could with circumstances that were not foreseen. The follow ups have all been good, he has continued to see me for 6 months post surgery to follow my progress. He was concerned about the condition of my bones, and has recommended treatment. All my experiences with him and the staff have been positive.

Excellent care start to finish

I would recommend Dr. Michael Sisk for any Orthopaedic Procedure. I was in a trouble, I cut a tendon and had a infection going on in my finger. Dr.Sisk looked at my finger Monday, Tuesday I was operated on. Now I’m on the road to recovery!! Thank you Dr Michael Sisk Your surgical staff was very efficient. My nurse Julie was with me start to finish, excellent care . Thank You Ernest Smart.

Dangerous!

Dr Sisk was very thorough and explained my knee situation very well. I appreciated the time he took and was treated very well.

He listened to, took time, was a very caring physician.

Couldn’t be mor satisfied with my results

Dr sisk did my double knee replacement a year ago. He is the best. I can dance and ski again without pain.

Amazing and very personable! Have helpful advice and was willing to take me in the condition I’m in! Very nice, reasonable and glad I was able to find him!

We, me and my husband have both used Dr Michael Sisk and as for us we are confident we would never use another ortho dr. Besides him. Him and his staff are very professional and caring! We have used his Steamboat CO, Rock Springs WY, and Riverton WY hospitals and they are awesome. We would highly recommend him!

Dr. Sisk & his PA Alisa ask pointed questions to ascertain the correct treatment for your specific issue. Dr. Siska has performed procedures on both of my shoulders & I will soon be scheduling a knee replacement with him. Dr. Siska & his entire team are very pleasant & professional!

There aren't enough stars to give Dr. Sisk a 6 or better rating. He is the best ortho doc I've worked with. He performed a few procedures on my knee and shoulder when I lived in SBS 2010-2013 and now that I'm back living in the Chicago suburbs I traveled to SBS so that Dr. Sisk could handle my newer ortho issues. To travel 2,200 miles round trip speaks to the excellence of his practice, his warmth and his absolute total concern for the mental and physical well-being of his patients. I trust him very very much. He, again, is superb.

The staff was outstanding caring kind sincere about there job showed real professionalism and real concern for your best interest I have been to the hospital here in Rocksprings and never had service that I had at Aspen medical hospital From the front desk to the recovery nurses to the anesthesiologist x-ray techs and KitchenAid’s it was quality top notch Service and care

He was extremely inappropriate and judgemental. My husband was referred to a him for his ankle. He didn’t ask my husband any questions about his symptoms or any potential causes. He didn’t even look at his ankle until we were about to leave. He assumed he was a heavy drinker without ever asking. He cussed throughout the appointment and talked over us several times. Rather than taking the time to discuss the diagnosis he told us to get on web md and educate ourselves. My husband was the patient but he sat next to me resting his hand on my leg, which was extremely uncomfortable. Worst experience we have had with a doctor and I hope that if someone reads this they will choose a different doctor!

Excellent service and communication !!

Have seen Dr. Sisk 3 times over the last few years. Specifically scheduled with him after first visit because of his care, professionalism and personality. He explains problems and treatments completely and answers questions completely and with patience . Have never felt rushed to end the visits.
