Reconstruction After Bilateral Mastectomy
I was referred to Dr. Tantillo by my Cancer Surgeon for reconstruction following my double "bilateral" mastectomy following breast cancer. Dr. Tantillo was very knowledgeable and was able to explain the entire process from beginning to end. I am still under his care with expanders, and will have another procedure for replacing the expanders with implants by him, and I already know I'm in good hands with my reconstruction. I recommend Dr. Tantillo to anyone in my situation for reconstruction work.

Dr. Tantillo is the best. He completely transformed my body and he did it in such a natural way. I have had a few procedures done with him and I have been more than happy each time. When you meet him for your consultation he takes time, he listens to you and he’s always available to answer any questions you have..he is truly the best and I wouldn’t go to anybody else The office staff are friendly and so Helpful

My experience was not good at all. After having a melanoma removed from my nose, Dr. Tantillo performed reconstruction surgery on the left side of my face. One of the questioned I asked was whether cartilage would be used to repair my nose, he responded that it wasn't necessary. After 3 hours of surgery, I ended up with a deformed nose and a drooping lower left eyelid. He offer to try to repair the eyelid, I declined.

I am a parent that was anxiously awaiting the call that my daughter was out of surgery for the opening left in her stomach from removing a cancer tumor a week ago at SEMC. A week later Dr. Tantillo did the plastic surgery to fix the opening in my daughter's stomach. I was very greatful for his phone call as soon as he finished in OR with my daughter to let me know she on her way to Recovery. I feel at ease now knowing she got through another surgery and on way to coming home soon to her family.
