No empathy
He told me he would cure me prior to surgery, he was so confident, after lung surgery he found cancerous lymph nodes, told me I had a forty percent chance of surviving 5 years. During covid with no one with me, would not let my husband come in with me and never suggested we conference him in. I had pain after surgery and asked him to refill my prescription for pain meds and went on to lecture me about addiction. I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Vercillo?
He was my surgeon. My first few impressions of him were pretty positive, he seemed straightforward and confident. But after surgery he was not involved enough to know what was really happening, resulting in mistakes with treatment and major setbacks in my recovery. Sadly, he doesn’t listen to his patients, but is rather dismissive and condescending.
