Best ENT I’ve had
Dr. Streeter was by my side since I was born. Tubes 24/7 and eventually two tympanoplasty’s. When I was 13 she made me feel comforted before surgery. I had my second surgery in 2014 shortly after she left VA to CO and it was another success. I currently see someone in OH and felt like I haven’t gotten the success she provided. I miss you Dr. Streeter!

Step-dad had throat cancer (vocal cords) 10 years ago, had aggressive treatments, and it went into remission. Recently he started experiencing throat pain, which worsened over several months. During repeated visits, Streeter assured him "at least you know it isn't cancer!" while misdiagnosing strep, sinus infections, thrush, GERD. After rapid weight-loss, family sought second opinion -- stage 4 cancer of the esophagus was detected immediately. But the delay caused the cancer to spread to nearly every organ system in his body. He died in August because this 'expert' repeatedly disregarded a patient's history of throat cancer.

Rating: -100% 9 months of visits. Failed to diagnose Esophegeal Cancer in my husband who she knew had a history of vocal cord cancer. In spite of 40lb weight loss in the last 3 months and excruciating ear pain development, she failed to find the Esophageal cancer that the next ENT found immediately. Streeter failed to give him the chance to recover, with early detection and treatment. HACK! HE DIED 4 MONTHS AGO.

I did not have a good experience. I felt I received a lot of "shot in the dark treatments" after a post surgical infection. I had to really advocate for myself to get labs done. I finally saw an ENT in Denver who did comprehensive labs and CT scans. I need a second surgery. I am not sure it would have gotten to this point if I had more comprehensive care sooner. Also the office is VERY hard to get ahold of. I have left messages and never even heard back.

Daughter had nasal issues from birth. This quack Dr said she had allergies. Dodds in Canon city said her tonsils were so big we should name them. This doctor and hospital missed the boat on this one.

Nine months of being told "It's NOT cancer"by Dr. Streeter, I got a second opinion. Dr. does a CT PET scan and biopsy. He tells me I have Stage 4 cancer. Rather a major shock from her telling me my problem is stomach acid to being told that surgical removal of my voice box and vocal chords are my "best chance for survival". One star because it's the only option.

I had just had a major heart attack and was having difficulty breathing. She listened when others said it was just part of recovery. She also reads her own films, or I would have continued to be misdiagnosed. My delicate surgery was a success and I could breathe again. She literally saved my life.

I was referred to see Dr. Streeter by my primary care physician to have my Thyroid monitored. During my visit, she took the time to hear my health history and the recent issue of sleep apnea and how I had failed the medicare guidelines for my CPAP. Dr. Streeter ended up scoping me and noticed I had a deviated septum which was not allowing me to tolerate or receive the benefits of treatment. She told me I was a great candidate for "Sleep Apnea" surgery. I decided to go ahead with the surgery and it is the best decision I ever made! When I went back in for my sleep study post-surgery, I NO LONGER had ANY sleep apnea!!! I am beyond grateful for this woman and I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a Dr. that truly cares. She is highly intelligent, inquisitive and not jaded like many Drs who are arrogant enough to think they have everything figured out. She will ask questions to get a deeper understanding of you and your concerns.

After my daughter having a severe post op nosebleed, Dr Streeter was amazing in treating her, stopping the bleed and recognizing there were other problems causing this. She was diligent in finding out the cause of the bleed. In the end we found out my daughter has a bleeding disorder.

I have been a patient of Dr. Streeter's for over a year now and am extremely pleased with the level of care received and the manner in which it is received. I have found her to be extremely thorough in her explanation of my diagnosis and treatment plans. She communicate the scientific/anatomical explanation first and then will always break down the medical jargon into layman's terms so I can understand what is going on with my body and what she plans to do to correct any issues. Not only is she professional, but she genuinely cares about me as a patient and a person - she wants me to breathe and sleep better and follows up with me regularly to see if my treatment plan is working. I trust her opinion on all things ENT absolutely and recommend her to anyone in the Arkansas River area needing an ENT specialist.

I have suffered from severe sinus infections (or I thought) since I moved to Colorado 20 years ago. I made an appointment with Dr. Streeter thinking that I would need surgery. It turns out that what i thought were sinus infections were actually allergies. Dr. Streeter put me on some great allegra medication and I haven't needed antibiotics since. I was taking antibiotics up to 6 times a year. I thank her and so does my body. She's amazing!

Horribly rude. I was like an annoyance to her. I also heard her with another patient trying to get rid of him. Instead of listening to me, she dismissed me completely even telling me: "You aren't a 20 year old are you?" I guess for her, if you are in your 50s then your life doesn't matter. Save your money, she will charge you for two seconds of her time, and drive to the city for a more knowledgeable doctor who actually wants clients.
