Did not manage weaning off pain meds appropriately
My father was being weaned off his chronic pain medicine inappropriately. It resulted in him going through intense anxiety and panic attacks, inability to eat due to lack of appetite as well as withdrawal that resulted in him having seizures, cardiac arrhythmias, severe electrolyte imbalances and being hospitalized. Upon reviewing his PDMP, she was weaning him too fast and then dosing every other day where he would exhibit signs of withdrawal on the days he was advised to not take the medication. His whole body has become deconditioned and we have witnessed him suffer in his overall quality of life. When asked how his appointments go, they are described as quite brief with a vital sign check and his lungs being auscultated and out the door he would go with a new prescription. They have no on call services for emergencies. He was not weaned safely which could have resulted in his death.

Recently, I had a bad experience with a couple of the staff members over the phone while trying to reach and schedule a follow-up appointment with Dr. Caporaletti. It was a very bad experience; however, a young lady and Kai and the nurse Melissa at the Horsham office were extremely helpful. They really took good care of me; which is exactly what I had come to expect from Dr. Caporaletti’s office. Dr. Caporaletti was true to form. She was very attentive to my needs and she listened to me. I explained to her what happened with her staff and she told me how to proceed in the future. That’s was very satisfying. I appreciate Dr. Caporaletti, as I always have and now I know how to do the things I need to get he help I need.

I was seeing another pain management doctor before meeting Dr. Cap. What a world of difference she made in my life! She is very kind, warm, and understanding. She LISTENS when you talk to her, and even during injections (I do them without sedation), she made sure that I was all right, and minimized the pain for me (a courtesy my previous doctor NEVER gave to me, the epidurals were almost unbearable with him) but there was barely any pain with Dr. Caporaletti. She is awesome.

Dr Caporaletti is wonderful. She is kind and caring. She listens to my concerns and truly understands what I'm telling her and where I'm coming from. She had been treating me for one condition for several months when another situation came up. From knowing me, she know something else was going on and ordered an MRI and found the problem which is now being treated. She's the best and I highly recommend her.

She is absolutely wonderful. She is very intent on getting the diagnosis and treatment exactly right. I had been to another doctor but when I met with Dr. Caporaletti she disagreed with the prior diagnosis and treated me for a different ailment. That saved me from a lot of unnecessary follow up and probably more treatments. I cannot stress enough how important her decisions were and she completely corrected the problem.

i would never recommend Dr. Caporaletti or her office. She comes off caring in the beginning. Her office staff is rude and cannot be counted on.
