Dr. Miguel Gallegos, MD

Could have told me he would not do the reconstruction surgery 4 months earlier but waited for the return appointment to tell me he would not help me but could refer me to someone else.

Went to this MD for a breast augmentation revision after 8 years. I had originally wanted a C cup, was convinced by MD to get a D cup, D cup turned into DD which I was originally a B cup. Was uncomfortable and having back pain for years. Went back to him because the initial experience wasn’t bad just didn’t get what I wanted/asked for. I was young and let myself be convinced otherwise by a “professional opinion.” Md was rude blaming increased breast size d/t weight gain. Again pt blaming which seems to be his MO. Decided to go through with procedure, had inadequate pain control during surgery. I was crying, screaming during procedure and MD stated some pain is normal! Bs!!! Do not go here! Dr.Gallegos is rude, arrogant, and condescending.

I had multiple procedures done over the past few years: liposuction, fat transfer, breast augmentation, rhinoplasty revision, facelift, and fillers. His work is impeccable. Highly recommended.

I went to get some work done. This man put his hands on my chest and told me what the cost of tattoo removal would be. I didn’t go in for that, however, it was a tattoo I wanted to remove. He, himself, wrote the estimate for both the procedure and the tattoo removal. For my pre-op I went in and asked him if I could do them at the same time (this is after I put the 20% down), and not only did he get upset, he told me he “misunderstood what I wanted removed” and tried DOUBLED the cost for removal from $500 to $1000. He was so mad he stormed out of the room. On the day of surgery, he was rude, short, and while waiting— I could hear the nurse Stacy and the anesthesiologist Dr. Witler talking. I could hear “no fighting” and I thought it was them talking to some person coming out of it. It was just them. After my procedure I was informed Dr. Whitley had quit due to “poor bedside manner” of Dr. Gallegos. I wish I had looked at reviews before going back. Trust the reviews

I had surgery with Dr Gallegos then shortly after quarantine closed the facility. I did not and still have not got a single call, email or text to see how I'm doing. I do not recommend this place

I give Dr. Gallegos 5 STARS!! His staff was kind, informative, and knowledgeable. Dr. Gallegos was awesome! I can’t express how happy I am with selecting Dr. Gallegos for my surgery. He was excellent in every detail from start to finish and went above and beyond. I researched all the Surgeons in Albuquerque and chose Dr. Gallegos for his education, qualifications, and 20+ experience. After meeting him, I knew he was the one. He answered countless questions, was never rushed and I knew exactly what to expect. He exceeded all of my expectations! His staff Nurse and MA were also excellent. I received amazing care and kindness. If you want the best chose Dr. Gallegos and his staff. If you want life changing results choose Dr. Gallegos and his staff. How fortunate Albuquerque is to have such a such a incredible Physician/Surgeon. Thank you

I had an extremely bad experience with this doctor. He was not honest when asked questions about the procedure. The same goes for his nurse. I have been suffering for almost 3 years. He doesn't know how to fix it. He told me to my face. He doesn't care how he affects his patients as long as he gets money. That's all he cares about. DO NOT TRUST THIS ESTABLISHMENT. I look worse than I did before this procedure. SAD!

Unfortunately I had an extremely bad experience. Procedure did not work, tried to reach him several times, never got a call back from either him or his staff. I do not recommend this doctor or the facility.

I have been going to Hermosa Plastic Surgery for more than 2 years. I am very happy with the service, and the results. I would fully recommend Hermosa Plastic Surgery and Dr.Gallegos.

I had a bilateral mastectomy due to breast cancer. Dr. Gallegos performed the reconstructive surgery on the recommendation of the surgeon. I am extremely unsatisfied with the results. The dr. is arrogant and rude. I would venture to say that the majority of his patients are women, and while he claims to help people feel better about themselves, I feel he is disrespectful of women. I would never recommend this dr. to anyone.

You should Always rate a 5!! From everyone no excuses for their negligence. You continue stateing it like it is.

This "Doctor" is a joke. Hes arrogant and thinks hes smart the only thing smart about him is his mouth. He tells you what he thinks you want to hear and once he gets the dinero he dont give a damm about your results. Hes a patient blamer you must have did this you've done that. NEVER HIM even tho he is the "doctor" Its all about the money to this guy he dont care about making someone feel good about there appearance. with so many negative reviews dont know how this guy is still practicing smdh

Stay away from this place.. consultations are a total lie he tells you what you want to hear to get your money...god forbid you have issues after surgery its because you did this you did that.. takes NO responsibility for HIS actions, decisions and screwups..if i would have known i would have never went to this guy.. hes ruined any chance I have to get a decent result for the procedure I had done...??

I have been going to Hermosa Plastic surgery for years. I have also referred three people who have gotten some sort of filler. Recently, they were having a special on January 31st where it was about $100 off. I planned to pay for the procedure on the 31st to secure the discount and the procedure was two days later. I lost my debit card and asked to pay one day after the special. They refused. They now lost four customers over $100. They only care about money so be careful. They take shortcuts.

Dr.Gallegos has performed several of my surgeries and has done an amazing job each and every time. He has also operated on several members of my family. He is always very informative about the different procedures available and addresses any concerns I may have.

Dr.Gallegos, is so friendly and kind. Answers all of your questions. Takes his time with you. He won't tell you what you want to hear. Very honest! I highly recommend him!

Had a breast lift with aug and was not happy with the look after. Had implants removed and developed a huge hematoma. Dr Gallegos said hematoma had nothing to do with his surgery which I found his claim to be incredibly inaccurate. I am a Registered Nurse and know that hematoma is a post op complication that can occur. After getting it aspirated it rebled. He refused to see me after that. Negligent in his practice and has no accountability.

Dr. Gallegos is a pro. Trust him, he did such amazing work on my tummy tuck, BA and lipo. I was crying today with joy. NO REGRETS-he is amazing. Also, his office staff-AMAZING. They held my hand, know me by name, and just took such amazing care of me from first visit to my post-ops. I can't thank them all enough.

My experience with Dr. Gallegos at Hermosa Plastic Surgery has been nothing but positive. He and his staff are very professional, informative and comforting. I have been a patient for more than 15 years and have had some minor and major procedures done that I am truly satisfied with. Over the years, I gained weight and recently lost 80 plus pounds and it was time to see Dr. Gallegos again, I am two weeks out and had minimal pain and I am totally satisfied with it all. I highly recommend him!
