I have no complaints with Dr. Lai, however the incompetence of the medical staff at this office is profound and should be investigated. They refuse to respond to any phone calls, do not read or reply to messages sent to them via their patient portal, and continually make simple mistakes when I request a prescription causing unnecessary delays, excessive monetary expense, and endangerment of my medical health. I would never recommend this office to anyone.

I'm recently a new patient to Dr. Lai and thus far, have been pleasantly happy with the treatment I receive from him. He actually LOOKS at you (though wearing a mask) when speaking of your health and he takes concern with me and my health. As stated before, I'm happy so far. I have no complaints. His staff is amazing, the front office (Amy especially) is a sweetheart. They are all very professional, informative and a caring staff.

My husband and I had been seeing Dr Lai for almost 20 years. Our last visit was in 2019 following my husband's 3 month hospitalization. At our visit he was rude, and generally disinterested in my husband's condition. I had to even ask if blood work was going to be done..to which he responded oh yes, I guess we should. This coupled with rude receptionists, months to get an appointment, prescriptions not be called in to our pharmacist...was it for us. We found care at another office.

Been seeing DR. Lai for over 10 years. He must be getting really tired. Saw him today and he was so mean spirited and treated me as if he wanted me to find another Primary Care Physician. The man was so rude.

Constant "communication" errors, incorrect or failed to complete faxes. Office staff is rude and does not follow up. Office Supervisor is not trained properly and consistently gives conflicting information. Do yourself a favor and find a Dr and staff that is competent.

After a issue of dementia and continued renal failure my family and I question drug abuse and spoke to the patients doctor and asked what could be done to prove abuse, well after tons of research I finally came to the conclusion that it wasn't the controlled substance I first thought that was practically killing her but that she was overdosing on a different type of pain killer for nerves due to weight loss, now after a chunk was taken from her butt he still refuses to medicate her pain.

I've been going to this office for a while now, never once have I seen the actual Doctor. I've been waiting over a week for them to call in antibiotics for me after having some blood work done that shows I need them. I've called several times and just keep being told that they will do it. The staff aren't very nice, and they don't seem to believe me when I tell them what's wrong with me. I personally will not be returning to this office again. My entire family has had the same issues with them.

I do not know what is with this office staff. I have been trying to get my medicines faxed to Humana so they can mail them to me. I spoke to the nurse the day of my appointment about doing this. I then called the office and they said they would do this. I felt uneasy about it being done so I went to the office. They could not find my folder when finally found the nurse said she would do it by the time she left for the day. This was two weeks ago and still do not have my meds.

This is about billing issues. We have always paid the copay before seeing doctor so the bill is paid. Somehow we receive bills. The office didn't know why and told us to disregard it. But the bills still came and they would say disregard it. Which was very annoying but okay. Husband and I went in for our overdue free annual blood work. Receptionist argued and said if we talk to doctor about anything it was not retain and now we are being billed for blood work. Not HAPPY and will Not return.
