Felt rushed & poor patient rapport
My first appointment with her was brief but felt very rushed. At my second appointment with her to review results, I was waiting in the room for a while and when I finally sit in her office to review results, she was on her phone and told me to give her one moment to send text messages, which is not professional. She barely discussed the abnormal results in detail leaving me confused and not enough time to process the diagnosis. Her demeanor was very cold and strict making me feel welcome and untrusting to open up to her.

I Love Dr. Sivkin!
I feel like the reviews here are for two different doctors. I feel comfortable talking about anything with her. She is very thorough and does not rush. when I told her my sister was diagnosed with breast cancer she sent me right away for gene testing and my mammogram. When I discuss something I am taking or something I read about she always listens and looks it up right there. some doctors are dismissive. She actually seems like she learns from her patients, and that is the kind of doctor I like. Its true she always has someone with her and sometimes I would like to talk to her alone. But I'm sure if I asked she would have her assistant leave the room. She is also fun.

Bizarre Doctor
Dr. Sivkin has an incredibly condescending + odd demeanor that is hard to fully put into words. If you have the displeasure of interacting with her though—it’s immediately apparent. The good: Sivkin will run multiple tests if you ask. However, even if the blood work reveals abnormalities she seems to have no problem solving skills (beyond birth control). She gave me one of the most uncomfortable pelvic exams of my life and abruptly shoved her hand in without warning and asked me if it hurt and said “I bet it did.” Bizarre provider—do not recommend. The positive reviews shock me!

I want to give the negative points to this doctor and her staff. They provide all incorrect information and ask to do incorrect test which does not even required. They just want your money. I will never ever recommend this doctor.

Dr. Sivkin made inappropriate jokes and comments to a health diagnosis I was trying to process. She made me feel uncomfortable and I felt I couldn't be honest with her. I had a friend attend an appointment with me and she immediately felt anxious by this doctor's presence. I would never recommend her to anyone that I care about.

I've been going to Dr. Sivkin for 20 years. I was just reading everyone else's reviews, and while some people feel she is abrupt or her office staff are rude, that just hasn't been my experience. Maybe they hit an off day? Dr. Sivkin is very straightforward and gets right to the point. If you're looking for someone to talk softly and hold your hand, she's probably not the one for you, but she gets things done and tells you the truth, and I like her. So there.

I don't doubt she is a knowledgeable doctor, but she has no people skills whatsoever. Whenever I tried to explain my medical situation she kept talking over me in a very condescending manner, making me feel like an idiot and saying things such as "OBVIOUSLY that has nothing to do with your issue" and "No, no, no... what do YOU think is the issue, don't say anything else". Her staff is also incredibly rude. Stay away.

I had to reschedule my daughters appointment 3 times for a first time visit with this doctor due to work schedules/demands/responsibilities. I paid Uber to get my daughter to her office on 4/5/17. When my daughter got thereat 3:15 they told her she was late and needed to reschedule. I then Ubered my daughter (17 years old) back home. I apparently had the time wrong 3:30 pm! This is not how I wanted to start off and obviously not going to continue with someone like this. Bad vibe!

She has no bedside manner. Doesn't listen. Makes a person feel like an idiot because I didn't have instant total recall of medical history, then when I tried to explain things she would talk over me and not listen to what I was saying. I felt very intimidated and stressed by how she treated me. I will not be going back..

I had my second child with Dr. Sivkin. She happened to be on call the day I went into labor. She spent all day and night with me, encouraging me. She was there to help me through the hard parts of labor. Dr. Sivkin talked with and my husband and kept us calm throughout the night. She was just the best!!

This is my third pregnancy with Dr. Sivkin and Dr. Muuray. I see Dr. Sivkin on most of my visits. She is funny but also makes sure that both my baby and I are healthy since I have some health issues. Her medical assistant Michelle is great, they work so well together. The ultrasonds people are also nice and very quick to see their patients. I would tell everyone to see Dr. Sivkin if they are looking for an OBGYN.

I am pregnant with my second child. I decided to go see Dr. Sivkin because even though she was not my doctor during my first pregnancy she did the delivery. She was great and stayed with me the entire time. When I saw her in the office she recommended that I have something called a first trimester screening. She said it was recommended. I told her I was not offered that by my other doctor. She also offered for me to have a genetic screening test. Wow, she was so complete, I love her.

This was my first visit seeing Dr. Sivkin. She was recommended to me by my primary care doctor. My old OB/GYN never seemed to care about me. Dr. Sivkin sat down with me and took the time to listen. She did a thorough exam and provided guidance on some non-related issues I was having. I am seeing her again to follow-up on some tests. I feel very comfortable with her.
