Fragile Harvard ego
I saw Dr. Rubenstein for a skin exam. He identified a 'suspicious' mole that he described as two-toned in color and said it should be removed from my back. While I was face down on the exam table, I asked him to take a picture of the mole so that I could see what he was talking about and he said in an aggressive tone, 'Why? Are you going to make your own diagnosis on this? Would seeing the picture change your mind anyway?' He refused to take a picture of it and show it to me unless I agreed to have the procedure done. Does this doctor have total disregard for patient informed consent? See him at your own risk.

Horrible
My mother is a patient and was treated the worst I’ve ever seen a doctor’s office treat a patient. She has been waiting a week now for the office to prescribe her something for her diagnosed “eczema”. She has been calling constantly the whole week waiting for this prescription. They won’t return her phone calls and are very dismissive of her. But now her “eczema” has spread all over her body, she can’t sleep, and her body is all swollen. If she ends up with an infection (which is the way it’s heading) I will hold this office responsible. Don’t go here if you want to be treated with respect and treated at all.

Dr. Rubenstein is the best. I've been with him for over 20 years. He's a great doctor and has a great bedside manner - affable, caring, asks about your life, explains things well. I hope he doesn't retire anytime soon!
