Dr. Silverman is a talented and astute endocrinologist. He pays meticulous details to lab values and titrates medications to values and symptoms. His bedside manner is somewhat dry (that is perfectly OK). The office staff could use customer service training, I expect more from SMG. The patient care technicians have been excellent.

I have been a patient of Dr. Silverman for about five years now. Pre-pandemic I was pleased with his thoroughness and attention to details. And it seems to me he is knowledgeable about my very particular condition which in my case puts me at ease. Right now because of the pandemic we’ve been having telemedicine which I find somewhat less effective. I like for docs to listen to my heart- breathing-feel my thyroid, etc. Trust me — he is exceptionally perceptive and I appreciate that but telemedicine will only serve as a bridge until my next full in person visit again. I love this doctor. I think he is spectacular. He came highly recommended from another highly respected specialist who retired.

After waiting three weeks his office called the day before my appointment to CANCEL. I have never spoken to the doctor, however I can tell you his staff is rude, disrespectful and just seems not to give a damn. Based on what his staff has told me is information relayed from Dr. Silverman, I have no reason to feel any differently about him.

My visit to Dr. Silverman turned to be the most expensive doctor's visit. He charged me with a complicated case when it was a routine 6 months check up for my thyroid. He did not give me any kind of exceptional advice, everything he said was the same as other endocrinologists I have been to in the past but no one has charged me with such high consultation fee.

Dr. Silverman has been my doctor for many years. Having diabetes (over 50 years) takes a team that is willing to work hard with you to keep you healthy and to help live a long life. He is the kind of doctor that goes over all your diabetic information , and gives you the support and tools to make your life better. Yes, I would recommend Dr. Silverman and his team in the office.
