I got my life back!
Dr Merhi performed a laparoscopic robotic hysterectomy on me after years of suffering with abnormal bleeding. Since the surgery I have my life back! No more bleeding and I had minimal pain for the first few days that ibuprofen took care of. Dr. Merhi is definitely highly skilled and knows what she is doing! I highly recommend her if you’re thinking about a hysterectomy. I wish I would have done it sooner!

Unacceptable
I had a hysterectomy, a week ago. Went into respiratory distress in the recovery room and Dr. Merhi denied the nursing staff to keep me overnight for observation. My O2 levels dropped down to 65!! Also, I did not see her before or after surgery!! That to me, is very unacceptable! I was also pawned off to. NP for my one week post op appointment. Shameful

I had surgery scheduled for March 2020 for pelvic organ prolapse but it was cancelled because of Covid. I rescheduled and had the surgery in August 2023. Dr Merhi agreed to my request to not have my ovaries removed and signed a paper indicating that. In the pre op holding area, Dr Merhi agreed to not remove the ovaries. In the post op visit to my surgical room in front of my 2 daughters, Dr Merhi she said she did not remove the ovaries! At my 1 wk post op office visit I was given the pathology and surgical report only find out that she DID take my ovaries although the pathology report said that they were normal. She lied to me!And when I spoke to her she said to me “you signed the surgical consent”.She was trying to put it on me and not take responsibility for her mistake. Her office is very unfriendly and the NP that I saw twice looked like she just rolled out of bed with a wrinkled tee shirt on.

Kind but missed serious issues.
While this physician is kind, she wrote off my pain. Another physician took the photos from the surgery she performed on me and found serious issues that could have cost me my life. She's great for everyday needs but I would always seek a second opinion when dealing with her.

Bad bedside manner
I've seen a few gynecologists before her and she is by far the worst with bedside manner. All my previous doctors have told me every step before proceeding the exam. Within 2 minutes of her introducing herself she lubed up her hand and put it inside me. No warning whatsoever and then yelled at me that I was "too tense" and needed to relax. She didn't listen to any of my concerns and dismissed me. I'm sure she is a great surgeon but she is by far the worst gynecologist for exams. It made me feel so uncomfortable and wanted to leave immediately, thank God the visit was less than 10 minutes and never have to see her again.

Beware!
I will never recommend Dr. Merhi to anyone. I liked her in the beginning but after a while she could care leas about you. I recommended her to 2 others and they will never go back. She has dismissed all my concerns. Would not listen. When I requested my records to go to a new Dr. They "lost" the important pages that I needed. Do not go to her or any of her staff!

I was referred to Dr. Nahla Merhi by my Primary Doctor because of uterine prolapse. She is a very busy Doctor so I had waited almost three months for an appointment. I was very pleased to find she was very professional and compassionate in her manner. She gave me great confidence in her diagnosis of my condition and recommendation for surgery.

PATIENTS BEWARE!!! We had the absolute WORST medical experience. I never thought we would have to experience such incompetence & unprofessional behavior from medical personnel. Nahla Merhi (refuse to call her Dr. because she doesn’t deserve the title) provided the worst service I have ever witnessed. I am a nurse & have worked with many drs and medical professionals & in my career I have never seen someone this terrible. She dismissed my mother who was in pain post-op & said that she must be a “drug addict” if all the pain meds she had prescribed didnt work. My mom politely asked her nurse not to be seen by her due to the multiple negative interactions she had with Merhi & she INTENTIONALLY dismissed her pts wishes and stormed into her room, saying “she has privileges as a Dr to go wherever she wants in this hospital” & she called us “TRASHY PEOPLE” as she stormed out of the room! I highly recommend you find another doctor to prioritize you & provide you the quality care you deserve.

Dr. Merho was ok, but staff not so nice. I have recurring uti s and placed on extrace supposedly this would prevent them. Well it didn't, what was frustrating the no calls were returned when I had uti symptoms. The one time I saw np, I said I didn't want to be on extrace any more was taking it forv2 years since it can cause cancer. I got a shrug of a shoulder with an oh well Really. I got utis anyway with extrace what's the point. The no return calls and that shrug sealed it. Not seeing them!!!!! I

If I could leave ZERO stars I would. I used to LOVE my Dr (Nahla Merhi) but now she doesn’t even see patients but pawns them off on the Nurse Practitioner Julie Bright-Allot who is HORRIBLE. Dr Merhi also never returned my phone call, clearly not caring about her patients or their concerns. The office manager Brenda Virgen asked me in the waiting room in front of another patient about my medical conditions that prevented me from wearing a mask. She was holding a mask twisting it in both hands that she handed to the nurse who then tried to hand to me to wear. When I said I would not put that on my face it has been contaminated anyway, the nurse rolled her eyes. Awful how Dr’s and their staff are treating patients, bullying, humiliating and harrassing them with ZERO compassion and empathy.

After years of pain and suffering, Dr. Merhi was the first Dr. to actually listen to me and try to get to the root of my problem. As it turns out, I had severe endometriosis, I underwent laparoscopic surgery with Dr. Merhi (November 2016), and I have been a new person since. I ended up going to Dr. Mehri, recommended by my thyroid doctor. My previous Gyno thought that giving me a shot that basically puts you into menopause was a better option than the surgery.

The wait can be long, but a good doctor is well worth the time spent in the waiting room. It's clear that Dr. takes her time and makes sure all of your concerns are addressed. I am lucky to have such a sweet, caring, and capable physician.

Made me feel ashamed to even be there. I was referred to her by primary doctor for cyst on ovary. She would NOT do an ultrasound, which is the reason I went there. I told her about my family history with cancer and she basically told me I was a liar. She belittled me and made me feel like I was wasting her time. Horrible. I don't know how she is even in business. Won't even give 1 star if I didn't have to. Waste of my day.

I had to put on a slight gown only from my shoulders to my naval that did not close in the front of toilet paper and sit naked in the exam room for one hour. I saw her nurse practitioner and student nurse practitioner. They did not know how to get the speculum in. I could not ask any questions. It was terrible! I will never return even if I have to pay out of pocket for a doctor not on my insurance plan.

I felted rushed with her.I would not go back to her. She did my scan less than 2minutes. Didn't understand what she said. She told me to get off of birth control I told her no I'm not. She asked me how old I'm I told her. She said 30 is a good age to start having kids. She told me when she see me again in three months I should be Pregant. And I told her that me and my husband we don't make enough money to have a kid or to support she told me that I can have his parent and mine parents to count
