I've only been there once so far but was impressed by Dr. Johansen, and with the time and attention she gave me: I was there for a routine check, which she did, and when she asked if I had any concerns, I mentioned that I had something in my heel, but I was thinking it isn't really her area. She looked at it and took the time to remove it (a thorn), which I SO appreciate. She found a tiny mole on my cheek that concerned her, so she biopsied it and, sure enough, the results have come back as an "atypical mole", which will be removed. If she hadn't caught it, apparently it could have progressed to melanoma, but I'm not sure (I haven't spoken to the doctor about it yet). I appreciate a doctor who is kind, thorough, and takes all the necessary time with each patient. Another thing: I was impressed how clean and pleasant their office is, and I'm impressed with their COVID-19 prevention protocol. Last and, yes, least: they have shady parking there! Just saying--this is Florida.

Felt extremely comfortable with Dr . Johansen. She was recommended by my GP and I now know why. Working outdoors my whole life I’m always filled with anxiety when going to dermatologist. This was my first visit with her and had several spots checked with no issues and very minor discomfort. I’m not looking forward to returning but won’t have any issues doing so.

Walking up to entryway were two vases of pretty flowers. Inside was clean light and tasteful. The reception staff was fine, but the main star was dr. Johansen. She greeted me with a warm smile,was friendly , caring and through. Wish we had more doctors like her. I would recommend dr johansen to everyone of all ages.

She was extremely Compr and listen to everything I said. I have had a skin fungus that apparently went into my longs and nasal passages. I have had this for years since I was a kid because I was in some pretty toxic environments as a child and also in Navy chemical weapons. I don’t know where it came from but she gave me some B3 prescriptions and antifungal tablets and not only is my skin cleared up but my whole body feels better and more alive and never has. She also was able to take off a lot of basal cells and actinic keratosis which been bothering me for a long time she is extremely extremely confident kind sensitive & Has great diagnostic skills
