The practice is efficient, knowledgable, and operates in a timely fashion. The doctor is down to earth and a realist. He can deliver bad news compassionately and clearly. He also celebrates good news. I highly recommend his services and that of his staff.

Dr S. recommended the Rezum Procedure to fix “urinary flow”, and he was indeed right. I can now sleep through the night without getting up two hours. Dr S was professional and patient and answered all of my questions. Best of all, he allayed all of my fears I highly recommend both the doctor and the procedure to any man over the age of 60. I came near death when my extremely large prostrate ( usually the largest the doctor had ever seen) began to bleed profusely. Dr. Stroumbakis, whom I not seen in several years, stepped right in and arranged for me to be transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital to be operated on immediately by one of the top surgeons at the hospital. They lost track of how many transfusions I had. After I was brought back to Greenwich Hospital, Dr. Stroumbakis came in to check on me every day - a real comfort. I met with him at his office 2-3 times a week until I completed my recovery. The entire experience lasted 2 months. Dr. Stroumbakis can seem a little gruff at times, but he is immensely caring of his patients.

After seeing Dr. S. for almost 10 years for BPH, and resisting his recommendation for a TUVP procedure, I finally relented and the results were excellent, alleviating almost all of my symptoms. Knowledgeable and competent, both he and his staff have my vote of confidence.

Dr Sroumbakis removed a malignant tumor from my bladder via a catheter. The margins were clean and no evidence of cancer remaining. Dr. Stroumbakis visited me several times in the hospital both before and after surgery describing the procedure and the results. I consider him an excellent surgeon and physician and recommend him highly.

Went to a urologist before seeing Dr. Stroumbakis. Right away he wanted to do invasive surgery. After looking at various doctor ratings, Dr. Stroumbakis seemed to fit the bill. He had several options without doing surgery. He’s a doctor that likes a challenge & works with you in resolving your medical issue(s). He explains everything & answers questions in layman terms. Dr. Stroumbakis performed a prostate procedure in March 2023. Within a day the catheter was out. I never experienced any serious pain or discomfort. Its two months later and I am free of my enlarged prostate medicine. The symptoms of an enlarged prostate have essentially disappeared. I don't pee like a 20 year old but am a very satisfied 77 year old.

I saw Dr. S for BPH, because he does the REZUM procedure. He told me I wasn't a candidate (fair enough) and then proceeded to tell me I needed to be catheterized immediately, needed a cystoscopy later that week and sent me for a scan, despite the fact that I had recently been scanned. I went to another urologist and will need a prostate procedure at some point, but not to be invaded the way he wanted to invade me. I am still fine, my kidneys still work and I'm being followed. His recommendations were nothing short of wildly aggressive, invasive and more importantly, needless.

Dr Strombakis diagnosed me, and treated me for my Prostate complication. Now, a year later I’m still fine & so glad I chose Dr Strombakis.
