ARROGANT AND COULD CARE LESS ABOUT PATIENT PAIN
This doctor is so old and unaware of his patients as to brage about not giving any pain meds even though other doctors (I've seen since) have said it's barbaric to do a contracture release and tell the patient to just take otc- they don't work for a broken hand- this guy is just an arrogant and old school- avoid!

this dufis messed up my hand. he had to do a second surgery because he screwed up the first time. I do not recommend him he has zero personality or customer service skills an is very condescending and arrogant. he lacks compassion and remorse.

My 10yo sons arm was saved by Dr. Vedder and his team. He was airlifted to HMC after being told in Spokane that the damage was so severe the arm needed to be amputated. Dr Vedder talked to us before starting surgery about the probable amputation but that he would do everything he could through Gods guidance to save the arm. After the initial 9hr procedure and several reconstructive surgeries over the next 8 years my son has 95% use and went on to ROW for MSU Crew team. Dr. Vedder is the best!

I was told about Dr. Vedder by a RN that worked at Harbor View. She said he was the best. The soonest appointment with Dr. Vedder at the Hand Clinic at Harbor View was over a year out. I was told that I could see him at his clinic at the UW. I had pain, swelling, burning, numbness and severe weakness in my wrists and hands. He helped me so much. I've seen him once since then and I have another appointment this Wednesday. It's comforting to know that I do have the BEST.

He is the kindest and most gracious individual who cares more about others than himself. I think those who reviewed low did not listen to him during the expectations portion; yes if you do everything as stated your results will be better but there is no assurance on final outcomes. I found him to be fantastic and although I could not remain on the medication that had nothing to do with him. But, he never abandoned hope or me.
