Inattentive and not responsive to questions
While this physician is generally well-organized and attentive during in-person visits, the supporting staff and the out-of-office after communications here are severely lacking. When interacting with this office after an appointment and trying to obtain answers to follow up questions, responses were late, not on point, or absent entirely. I informed the office I was upset over a day ago. Crickets from them. They have read my message. They have not reached out to me. This really should tell you all you need to know about this office.

Cool Bedside Manner
He is very professional, but curt and very cold. I am not getting a feeling that he cares about his patients any longer. It seems as tho he is just going through the motions. After 10 years, will be changing my primary.

Professional
First visit was good. Dr. O'Coyne took a history and performed a routine physical exam which is what is expected. Found him to be thorough and asked appropriate questions. I also think his support staff was very good.

Doesn't care
On my second visit with him we discussed a medication that he prescribed and that he was fine with. I asked him about a problem that I was having and told him what I had heard. I asked him for his opinion—NOTHING! I asked him another question and his response was, "my time is almost up...anything else." Off he went. You'll get better care at an Urgent Care.

My husband is seen this Dr. He doesn't have a heart. The other day he told my husband that he had two choices, to continue with the dialysis or go to a hospice! You don't say that to your patients, he is very rude, I don't want to see this doctor again in my life!!!!

I have been seeing Dr, O'Coyne for about 6 years now, He is a good listener, but I absolutely hate trying to communicate with him thro my banner. It is a dysfunctional website and I am tired of being frced to change my password very frequently. Banner is broken, Doctor is not

Dr Nick is my husband's phyician. He is fabulous. My husband has MS and while there is not much Dr Nick can do for that, he is very efficient in addressing any other health issues my husband has and he even listens to my concerns. He is great with referrals and he even makes sure that the Dr referred to takes our insurance. I love that he helps with corrdinating all of my husband doctors and test results. It took a long time but I am glad we found Dr Nick.

Terrible bedside manner! He comes across as condesending. He doesn't listen to you. I saw him for issues 6 months ago......and I STILL have the same issues without change under his "treatment". His response was "then go to the emergency room"!
