After three months of waiting I finally got the appointment to go see doctor Zeng. While I may only be 19 (almost 20) I have been chronically ill my whole life, got diagnosed with hEDS, POTS, and MCAS at 17, so I have some experience, i’m also a certified CCMA and working on my Associates of Science. My PCP couldn’t figure out what was causing 3 months of nausea and loosing almost 30lbs because I couldn’t eat. So I got sent to Dr. Zeng. The appointment was at 9:30am saw him around 12:00pm, he did no physical exam nor asked questions. then proceeded to tell me to stop smoking (I have the ok from pcp for sleep), stop taking nausea meds, diet, and to just distract me to stop throwing up like “fake drinking water out of a cup”. PCP sent me for an HIDA and Gastric empty study at his hospital. I now have an app to discuss possibly having gastroparesis and why my gallbladder was barely visible. So to Dr. Zeng please go learn more about EDS, to the front desk sorry for crying angrily at you.

Our 5 Minute Appt, then he says, ”Go buy a bidet!”
I was there for something I felt was serious. A nurseaid brought me in, took my vitals, then left the room. I waited 15 mins for Dr Zeng. He arrived, asked me why I was there. I told him my history and present colon issues concerns, lots of blood loss for several months. His immediate response was, “Go buy a Bidet”! He did not respond to my concerns. He was in and out of the room in literally 5 mins, no exaggeration. Before he left I asked him if someone was coming in to bring me back to the checkin checkout area. He said, “no, you can just go out and go down the hall and you’ll find the receptionist desk”. I was a little disoriented at first, but managed to navigate the hallways to get there only to find him there chatting with the receptionist. Then, even more frustrating than that experience, I have received three different bills they want me to pay, when they not sure have only submitted one bill to medicare. It’s almost like they are trying to confuse you to pay more.

Disappointed Medicare Patient – Apr 26, 2024

Not the doctor if you want to be listened to
Years of battling severe stomach problems. I gave up on doctors after finding out there was no treatment for the disorders I have. I go to try again with a new doctor. Dr.Zeng who persists that I was misdiagnosed because I'm fat. Which I'm 20 pounds overweight which is besides the point. He was extremely incompetent, couldn't understand a majority of what he was saying and he ignored me the whole time. Didn't ask me questions. He just explained what my organ problems do. I've had these organ problems TWENTY YEARS. TWENTY YEARS and he thinks he's teaching me something and to what? Why is he getting paid????????

What a joke – Nov 03, 2023

Dr. Zeng saved my life.
I went into Kadlec ER with a severe bleeding ulcer. My family was called in as I was not expected to make it. Dr. Zeng stepped in and cauterized 2 holes in my stomach to stop the blood spraying out of the 2 places that the acid had eaten into my artery. He is AMAZING!!!

I waited two months to see this clown. He did not even look at my issue, and did not listen to me. He was too busy trying to teach an intern that was present in the exam room. I was told to buy a bidet, and come back in a year. What a disgrace to the medical indusrty. A complete waste of my time. Now I have start the whole referral process again with another doctor. Not happy!

My husband went to see Dr. Zeng for a pre-colonoscopy appointment. The first thing he did was ask my husband "are you vaccinated?". My husband replied with a "NOPE." delivered in such a way that there was NO DOUBT that he was ABSOLUTELY NOT INTERESTED. Instead of asking "why?" Dr. Zeng launched in a long-winded pitch FOR the vaccine. When he wound down my husband and I were staring at each other with a "can you believe how dense this man is?" look. Instead of moving on. Dr. Zeng proceeded to give us THREE (yes, THREE!!!!) more VERSES of the same song. He was also completely dismissive of the fact that my husband was concerned about being on blood thinners for the procedure. There were just WAY TOO MANY RED FLAGS to proceed. We cancelled and found another doc. Guess what??...the other doc didn't need a pre-procedure appointment. They took the information over the phone and called in the prescriptions. NO appointment necessary.

WAY TOO MANY RED FLAGS – Oct 02, 2021
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Zeng?
I agree with the people who have reported Dr. Zeng as rude. He doesn't seem to listen very attentively and has poor empathizing skills. Also, initially I was told someone would call me with the results of my endoscopy and colonoscopy, but when no one called after a week, I called them. I was then told results could take up to 2 weeks, but would be mailed to me. After two weeks and no results in the mail, I called again. This time they indicated that I would need a follow up appointment (something no one had breathed a word about before), but said the next available appointment was a month away (meanwhile I'd been barfing up blood regularly). I did finally get my results, just six "short" weeks after my procedures were completed. Overall, I was not much impressed with him or his staff.

I was referred to Dr. Zeng by my oncologist. Dr. Zeng was rude and would ask questions only to cut you off mid-sentence when you were answering them. My oncologist referred me for a colonoscopy and Dr. Zeng tried to talk me out of getting one and stated I should just take medication....honestly I felt like he didn’t know why I was there nor did he care!! He was in and out in less than 10 minutes and told me his nurse would schedule my appointment not once did he wash or sanitize his hands.

never really talked to doctor and I don't even know my results. I have severe hemorroid problems still I am upset that after i paid hundreds of dollars, i went back for my results. To my surprise they were going to charge me $30 co pay for giving me my results. I think that the money I paid for the procedure should have included my follow up. so needless to say I don't have my results. I hope to go back to my family Doctor and hopefully they would have sent them to him so he can tell me.

Don't go to Zeng unless you have to, he is excellent at making urgent appointments and most of his staff are on-the-ball. Dr. Zeng is unnecessarily thorough and will send you through a lot of agony before you may or may not feel better. Sometimes his English isn't understandable, but you can ask him to repeat himself and he will explain. I make this review having seen multiple GI docs in the past.
