Rude and uncompassionate!!
Don’t know why this doctor is on staff at Watson Clinic? She is unfriendly and made me feel like I was a bother to her! Afterwards I went to see the hand specialist doctor and she showed me where there was a another broken bone in my hand that was missed by her and another orthopedic doctor at Watson Clinic. If I could I would give ZERO STARS!

DISAPPOINTED PATIENT – Oct 29, 2024

Wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy!
Visit was horrible, absolutely horrible. She has terrible bedside manner, doesn’t seem to really know anything about her field, rushed the appointment, and clearly didn’t want to be bothered with me. It’s really sad that we as patients have to deal with doctors such as her. Doctors who went to medical school and did it all for the money, doesn’t give a crap about the patient, could care less!! They just see us as little annoyances that they must deal with to get their paycheck. Surely don’t recommend her!

Arrogant, aloof and a waste of a copay.
Her nurse was very kind and compassionate, but I could tell that even she was unsure about Dr. Abimbola’s manner. I came to see Dr Abimbola for evaluation and advice for treatment of a painful knee and hip. She pulled up the X-rays and glossed over the results, and when I asked her for clarification and for her advice on next steps — she was so rude and and told me I needed to come up with a solution. I told her I came to HER for advice and solutions, and she got arrogant and huffy. I called and had my continuation of care transferred to another surgeon’s office. Beware: her bedside manner and “holier than thou” approach may not be ideal for your situation. It certainly wasn’t for mine.

One Terrific Surgeon
I saw Dr. Abimbola for possible hip replacement and was very impressed with her staff and with her! I am a retired Orthopaedic Administrator for a group of Orthopaedic Surgeons and as such I know what to expect when the surgery takes place in a few days. She was thorough in her explanation, answered all my questions, and her staff took great care to make sure I understood all the care instructions for pre-surgery and post surgery. As someone who is familiar with orthopaedic surgery, I will post another review post surgery. Cannot say enough good things about her pre-surgery consulatation.

Hip replacement
Dr Abimbola talked to me in great detail about hip replacement. She answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable with my options. She performed hip replacement surgery and I was on the road to recovery without issue. I would certainly recommend Dr Abimbola

Medicaid/Medicare scammer
Horrible bedside manners with an attitude like she's better than everyone! Took my sister to see her for a bad knee. This chick comes in with an attitude like she hates her job and us! Literally, walked over to my sister, poked her knee twice and said she has arthritis. Asked if she wanted a shot which we refused. Turns out she billed Medicaid for a shot she never gave. On top of all that, my sister ended up having a full knee replacement from a doctor that actually knows what he's doing. Don't waste your time because she doesn't want to take care of you, she's only looking for her next paycheck!!

Knowledgeable, Friendly, Pleasant.
Saw Dr Abimbola today. Very friendly, knowledgeable and personable. Took her time and didn’t rush. Answered any questions we had and offered/suggested a treatment plan to try before having surgery. Was well pleased with her, her diagnosis and her bedside manner. Would definitely recommend her.

Uncaring, impatient, incorrect diagnosis
She was either in a hurry, or really didn’t care about my problem. She basically said I had arthritis of the knee. Didn’t want to hear the background story, where the pain radiating from, and told me that the one huge popping noise that buckled my knee was most likely because I stepped wrong. Referred me to physical therapy. I said if I have torn meniscus wouldn’t that make it worse? she said possibly. I asked if we should determine that first? She said apparently you’ll be more happy with having an MRI first. You think? Since that which is exactly the reason I came. So the MRI shows the tears that I was certain that I had. I won’t go back .

I met Dr. Aminbola in February and noticed she had a terrible attitude and a not so friendly personality. Went through all the clearances needed for surgery and she had one excuse after another about my compromised situation. Then after 3 months comes up with yet another reason to postpone surgery for 6 more weeks. I let her Office know that she was no longer needed. Dr. Aminbola even tried to refer me to other Orthopedic’s. I wish that Dr. Aminbola would have just said she didn’t believe she was able to be successful with surgery. Left me in Severe Pain . Even the Nurse under her treated me horribly and unprofessionally just as Dr. Aminbola. Honestly nothing but a waist of time and the worst experience I ever experience with a Doctor.

dr Abimbola is wonderful. She was first doctor that actually listened to me and heard what i was saying. She is a very compassionate doctor you can tell she cares about making you feel better . I can never thank her for letting me know that there was something wrong with me and it wasn't my imagination. She identified what others had not.

My experience with Dr Abinbola was fine. I am I. Need of a knee replacement but can not get cleared medically for you. I have been trying to get them to allow blue cross to see if I could have gel shots. Which I’m not certain that blue cross doesn’t cover and I can not get an answer. I have been calling for 6 weeks. I leave messages every week and I have NEVER received a call back. I called the back phone and when her staff answered they told me they had to check one thing but didn’t want to put me on hold and would call me right back.that was 8days ago. The point is I’ll never know how the doc is because at this point I will be moving on. If you have a choice I believe it would be in your best interest to go elsewhere.

What arrogance. My first visit with her. Waited with 4 others who had the same 8:30 appointment time as myself. Finally came into examining room an hour later. They could not find my MRI in the computer so tells me to re-schedule and leaves!
