Dr. Olufemi Ajibade, MD

Most doctors at Riverside are amiable and pleasant at the very least, but Ajibade seemed like she couldn’t be done with me fast enough. This was the second time in 2 years I had a visit with her and I walked away feeling the same way. It was clear she didn’t want to be there with me, she had no bedside manner or even a hint of a smile or pleasant personality. She asked me if “we could discuss why I declined the genetic testing” in a very condescending way, and overall the appointment felt very rushed. I had some questions I intended to ask during my visit but ultimately decided against it as she was very unapproachable in her manner. I will be actively avoiding having her for any future appointments and as far as I can tell that would be just fine with her.

Everything was just a rush to the point where I just felt uncomfortable. This had been by far my worst Dr's visit.

Broke the strings off my IUD. Told me the best way to remove it was a hysteroscopy at the hospital, totaling $6,000.00 out of pocket. I called the day before my procedure to get Riverside to take responsibility for their mistake, and the doctor told me most offices have a hysteroscope, but since they do not, they refer all their patients needing the procedure to the hospital. They INTENTIONALLY neglected to tell me the procedure could be done for literally THOUSANDS less in an office visit in a better office.

I have mixed feelings about my visit. The receptionist was very friendly and the doctor had great bedside manner (hence the 5 stars), but the nurse and lab tech were a strong contrast (I would rate them 1 star). The lab tech was rude and seemed annoyed to be there from the initial interaction, which made that portion of the visit uncomfortable. Maybe mornings aren't her thing. I really am on the fence about future visits to this particular office because because the majority of the time spent there was not pleasant. I would definitely be comfortable with Dr. Ajibade in a different setting. I actually did recommend her to a friend with the warning about the overall staff experience.

Dr. Ajibade is great at answering any of your questions and addressing any of your concerns. She made me feel more comfortable and I would love if she was the doctor on call when I go into labor!

Very unprofessional

Dr. Ajibade made me feel very comfortable during my visit.

She sped through the “general info” as if it were common knowledge for a first time mom and my husband. Then she was quite rough during the physical exam to find my baby’s heartbeat and then check my cervical dilation. My husband told me that he never felt the need to comfort me during an exam before and that he could see the pain on my face.

She was very attentive and thorough and had so much knowledge of the different contraceptions available to women. I highly recommend her for all of your ob/gyn needs.
