Doctor Omar Hassan is a 5 star doctor.
I had a cataract surgery with very serious complications that was performed by another doctor. Dr. Hassan not only identified the problems he explained everything in detail as to what he had to do, things that could happen and the expected results. Dr. Hassan is s very caring and compassionate doctor. After a couple corrective surgeries and months of recovery the results were from not being able to see at all to complete vision. If you ever have any eye problems Dr. Hassan is the specialist you want to go to. A very big THANKS to Doctor Omar Hassan.

Emergency Surgery for detached retina
Surgery for detached retina Dr. Hassan is an excellent eye surgeon. Fully explained the operation and options for recovery. He did an excellent job reattaching my Retina. I would highly recommend Dr. Hassan for any detached retina surgery.

I accompanied my very nervous 92-year-old mom to her first appointment with Omar Mohamed Hassan, M.D. at his Highland Park, IL office. Dr. Hassan immediately brought a calm to her. He is quite thorough, patient and fully explained my mom’s retinal prognosis and foreseeable treatment and aids to help for her failing sight. His good humor and great bedside manner is remarkable. Dr. Hassan has brought some positive hope to my mom and our family, that he will do everything in his power to maximize her low vision. We look forward to our 2-month follow-up appointment:-)
